Watford get a Happy Egg
Watford, also known as the Hornets, play in the nPower Championship. During the 2011/12 campaign, the team managed to achieve a mid-table position, finishing in the 11th place. Watford play home games at Vicarage Road Stadium which has a capacity of 17,477 seats. The club’s highest ever placing in the English league system was runner-up in the 1982/83 Football League First Division, which was the top league at the time, with 11 points behind winners Liverpool.
The club has officially announced a new one-year shirt sponsorship agreement with The Happy Egg Company. The company is the United Kingdom’s largest free-range egg brand. The logo of the company will appear on both the home and the away shirts of the club in the Npower Championship during the 2012/13 season. In the past the company had already sponsored End of Season Dinners of the club.
thought it was the filths emblem on there shirt for a minute

The MACRON kits this year are all increased in size by a couple of inches . This is strange as their kits for the last two years were already oversized. This year if you want a shirt that fits you will have to buy the juniorXL kit with the forever united on it instead of SBOBET. I wonder if the forever united transfer peels off like the SBOBET one always does?

Re: the New kits thread
From what I have seen of the kits and training wear in the shop I would say that those sizes on the website are a bit misleading, the away shirt and training wear sizing seemed to me to be the same as last season in that they do come up slightly big but nothing like they did in 2010/11. I would assume a normal UK Large is say is something like 40-42 whereas Macron's is more 42-44 if that helps.KiwiHammer NZ wrote:

Re: the New kits thread
The Macron sizing is bizarre. As a slender adult my only option is to buy a large kids shirt, but there is no way I'm going to have that 'Forever United' nonsense plastered across my chest. Have been satisfied with Macron's designs for us but the stupidly big sizes has meant I've been unable to buy any of their kits. Surely the club is losing out on a lot of sales due to this?

Re: the New kits thread
Anyone noticed the style of the neck on the new Macron training kits?
Bought the claret and blue one because I liked the design as a top to play football in, but the neck is really, well... let's say like what a male hairdresser would wear to work.
Is that just how Macron do those training tops?

Sunderland announce shirt sponsorship deal with Invest in Africa
Sunderland have officially announced that they will carry the logo of Invest in Africa on all their playing kits during the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons. The Black Cats, as the club is nicknamed, has reached an agreement with the non-profit-making organisation, which is a partnership of leading companies with the intention of promoting business opportunities in the African continent.
The comments of owner and chairman of the club, Ellis Short, were:
“We are very proud to have augmented our relationship with Invest in Africa through this wonderful agreement. It is a partnership which sets a new benchmark for the club commercially, but what stands out is while doing so, it truly gives something back to both our own region and to a continent which has become a firm part of our club’s success story over recent seasons.”
“Extending our relationship will enable us to put the club’s knowledge and experience – allied with its immense global reach as part of the Premier League – fully into practice. It fits perfectly with our own aims as we continue showcasing Sunderland AFC to a global audience which simply loves football.”
