Re: the New kits thread
Juventus Third Star Controversy
A controversy which started after Juventus became the new Italian Champions has been settled once and for all. Following their championship win, Juventus had celebrated the deserved league title as their 30th league title on the pitch and a third star was added on commemorative shirts and memorabilia to celebrate the occassion.
’30 Sul Campo’
Instead of having a third star added to the club crest, Juventus Commercial Director Francesco Calvo has confirmed that club President Agnelli has announced that the club will be adding the phrase ’30 sul campo’ just under the crest.
Quoting the Juventus President, the club is now back in heaven after years of hell following the demotion to Serie B in 2006.
The decision to put the phrase ’30 sul campo’ instead of an additional third star (signifying 30 league titles), was taken as a measure to represent Juventus and its fans whilst also making sure not to break ties with the Italian Football Association.
we should have a gold star on our shirts for our world cup win in 1966

If you think £55 is too much, then you should see this - http://www.metro.co.uk/news/901726-pare ... tortionate" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That story is alarming, but baring in mind most people wouldn't buy the WHUFC tracksuit too, their kit is cheaper.ironsjh wrote:Shypalis wrote: saw it @ Lakeside yesterday, was tempted, but would have cost £55 for shirt and shorts together so gave it a swerve....for now !

Isn't this what ours is supposed to look like next season?
