She's basically saying "I'm going to start eating well and am giving up alcohol. Fancy joining me?" and Ravel has declined
When women talk about detox, they're (generally) talking about going to some quack spa and getting wrapped in clingfilm / slathered in mud / putting their feet in a goldfish bowl, etc - whatever bollox some sleb has most recently talked about in some idiot magazine. You are reading way too much into that exchange.

You are jumping to conclusions. She is asking whether he wants to go to whatever she considers detox (and you can't assume it is alcohol without more information; well, you can assume but cannot know)

As funny as some of the posters on this thread have been, it just makes me long for the days before widespread internet access when this site had about 50 posters.
I seriously think some of you need to get out more if you are going to start a debate about the meaing of a single word in a tweeter post which just so happened to be sent to a West Ham player!

I'm hearing stories that Ravel may be released in the summer by WH, anyone else hearing this?

Much as I hate to admit it, this IS what detox in a female concept means -- rubbish like drinking only lemon juice and water for 48 hours etc. Pretty sure that Ravel already has his diet and exercise and alcohol intake measured by the club's fitness staff and has no need for 'extra" gym or tuition from an outside gym,

Released and still posing in West Ham's shirt for Sky. How unprofessional. #mufc #whufc

I heard he's leaving west ham in the summer and not coming back for a whole week while he has some namby pamby thing called a "holiday". What a lack of commitment eh? Next he'll ask for a half day at christmas.
I know west ham has a rubbish history when it comes to holding on to good players, but why are some people already viewing him as uncommited? He moved from manchester to london, and we all knew he was unlikely to appear this season. It's not like he's done an ince on us

According to his agent on twitter: rumours of rav being released couldn't be more wrong. Doing everything right and working harder than ever. Loves it there.

I wonder why he isn't mentioned as playing in the Hong Kong tournament.

Did Fat Sam not say a few months ago that Ravel would probably play no part this season? I'm sure he did. If so, there's your answer. If not, I'm a **** and I'll shut up!
