Yeh right oh! Can he commute from Poole?

Will an Anglo-Russian phrase book teach him how to say "Triffic player". "Always fancied him." "Tried to sign him last year." "Overseas investments are taxable are they? Didn't know that can't write" and "brown envelope" in Russian....

With all of the fraudulent behaviour that goes on over there he should fit in well.

You can bet your life that he would have been after Carroll had he still been at Spurs - even more so if it is true that we're interested.

I'm so glad he aint there anymore !

Can just see him now, with a furry hat on, doing his "interview" through the open window of a Lada, as the snow falls, 'triffic weather, always loved the snow, for sure, triffic country, always loved oil rigs, love to have one but cant say that, for sure, but you never know.

I saw the below noted mini headline in todays Telegraph that got my hopes up :

'RUSSIANS TARGET REDKNAPP'

Unfortunately it wasn't by the Russian Mafia as I had hoped. :(

I reckon it's the team sheets that scare him, not the lack of brown envelopes.

This got me thinking that Redknapp would be a triffic shout for the Ireland job. Half seriously, half tongue in cheek, it would be an easy enough commute for him, the Irish love a brown envelope, there is no quarantine between Ireland and the UK for internationally minded canine investors, he would better than Charlton at weeding out players with an Irish granny, he could keep his TV gigs and if you get the Irish to perform better than England at a tournament it would mud in the eye of the FA.

Too fanciful an idea or a match made in heaven/hell?

My memory is fading. Can you remind me when Ireland out-performed England in a major tournament?

1994 (I know strictly speaking England didn't qualify, but you get what I mean)
