My dearest wish is to be safe by the final day and then beat Reading to send those slags down.

We might need a few points on the board before the run from 3/11 until 8/12. Man City Stoke Chelsea Liverpool at home and Newcastle Spurs Man U away. :(

Well I've just done the old BBC predictor thing and have us winning the league by a considerable margin. Hooray :crest:

August and September look good - chance for some decent points there, but this little lot worries me:

November
3 Man City (H)
10 Newcastle (A)
17 Stoke (H)
24 Tottenham (A)
27 Man Utd (A)
December
1 Chelsea (H)
8 Liverpool (H)

In all honesty, can we really only expect a result against Stoke in that list? Maybe a point from the Newcastle game?

Fantastic start, I think it's vitally important that the first six games are all winnable. Gets us mentally going for the campaign ahead instead of thinking, well we may well pick up points in game 3, 6, 8 and so on. Competing from the start, love it!

On a side note, Blackpool away to Millwall on the opening day of the Championship.

The first 9 are fairly close to ideal in terms of giving us a good chance of a solid start.

Newcastle and Spurs away plus Liverpool at home will probably be moved to Sundays due to their Europa league commitments - so I'd think Man Utd away will be moved to a Wednesday night.

You can expect what you like. I'll expect us to try and win every game. We are a different West Ham now. Away from home we will cause problems, at home teams will attack us...We are going to be a horrible side to play against this season. Enjoy it. We are going to kick some deluded established backsides.

Decent start and end to the season, big sam will need to create some proper tough discipline over the winter though. Very excited, we owe villa after the match that ultimately sent us down...

We beat Liverpool and Stoke and drew with Spurs last time around.

A lot of those are going to be tied up with midweek fixtures in Europe at that time too.
