Villa injuries

Postby mumbles87 on Mon Jul 23, 2012 5:40 am

Please excuse the non quoting but its on the sun website

Bent and gabby limped off for villa last night. Both out for at least 2 weeks

Might just be fit in time for us but could do us a favour

Darren Bent could turn up on crutches and been made temporarily blind and would still manage to score against us, its just one of those things you know is going to happen.

Is the correct answer!

Should start a "You just know these are going to score against us - its the West Ham way" thread.

You forget the one on one he missed for Ipswich in the 2nd leg of the play off semi the year we lost to Palace after about a minute

Or when he was through on goal and slipped over whilst playing for Sunderland in the Zola relegation season...

Gabby is the biggest threat to our defence

and good to dunne being out... gives us a nice chance to break down their defence whilst its under strength

bring on the opening game!

Gabby Agbonglawhatever, personifies shitness. All pace and no technique. Shithouse of a player.

He sums up a generation of players brought through because they were quick and strong, but fundamentally ****.

I remember them relegating us after the opening 45 minutes of the season 2 summers ago when they were supposedly in disarray. Quite a few of us knew we were in trouble there and then.

Need to turn this mob over.

Normally I would agree with this, I don't rate him. But they have now lost Collins as well. Vlaar has signed but where does that leave them?!

Villa are a counter-attacking side,always have been
Its irrelevent who plays, they try to soak up pressure, then hit you on the break
Benty is the perfect forward for them, holds it up,waiting for a midfielder to bomb past
If we leave the back door open, take your pick, who will notch
