Villa injuriesPlease excuse the non quoting but its on the sun website
Bent and gabby limped off for villa last night. Both out for at least 2 weeks Might just be fit in time for us but could do us a favour
Re: Villa injuriesDarren Bent could turn up on crutches and been made temporarily blind and would still manage to score against us, its just one of those things you know is going to happen.
Re: Villa injuries4 weeks from the start of the season, they will make sure they are fit.
Re: Villa injuriesLast time they didn't even have a manager....
(some will claim we were one short as well)
Re: Villa injuries
Is the correct answer! Should start a "You just know these are going to score against us - its the West Ham way" thread.
Re: Villa injuries
You forget the one on one he missed for Ipswich in the 2nd leg of the play off semi the year we lost to Palace after about a minute
Re: Villa injuries
Re: Villa injuriesTrue the ball only has to hit him on the ar$e ... to score against us !!
Re: Villa injuries
Or when he was through on goal and slipped over whilst playing for Sunderland in the Zola relegation season...
Re: Villa injuriesAgbonlahor & Dunne both out for 4 to 5 weeks and 6 to 8 weeks respectively. (according to SKY text)
Re: Villa injuries
Gabby is the biggest threat to our defence and good to dunne being out... gives us a nice chance to break down their defence whilst its under strength bring on the opening game!
Re: Villa injuries
Collins to score !!
Re: Villa injuriesGabby Agbonglawhatever, personifies shitness. All pace and no technique. Shithouse of a player.
He sums up a generation of players brought through because they were quick and strong, but fundamentally ****.
Re: Villa injuriesI remember them relegating us after the opening 45 minutes of the season 2 summers ago when they were supposedly in disarray. Quite a few of us knew we were in trouble there and then.
Need to turn this mob over.
Re: Villa injuries
he may be rubbish... but his raw pace is just dangerous so im glad he is out
Re: Villa injuriesDunne out? Good thing?
I'd rather him play, the f*cking useless oaf.
Re: Villa injuries
Normally I would agree with this, I don't rate him. But they have now lost Collins as well. Vlaar has signed but where does that leave them?!
Re: Villa injuries
Best defender in the world since Cannavaro retired.
Re: Villa injuriesIs Vlaar actually any good?
Only time I've seen him play was in the Euros, and he was ****...
Re: Villa injuriesVilla are a counter-attacking side, always have been
Its irrelevent who plays, they try to soak up pressure, then hit you on the break Benty is the perfect forward for them, holds it up,waiting for a midfielder to bomb past If we leave the back door open, take your pick, who will notch
