Home fans booing a ref who's sent a player off...there's a turn up.

Collins was daft...end of and we need to wise up a bit.

It's fairly clear plan A was turn out a strong side tonight and go away with a comfortable lead and chance it with the 'b' team. It nearly worked, and whereas I'd still like us to have a real 'go' at it I think it's pertinent save our best outfit for the Arsenal game.

i remember before the match on the radio they had a fella on with his kid, saying that it was his first game and he had to learn what west ham were all about first hand.

kid could write the book after that match.

we'll do them at their place, then we'll do the woolwich slags with whatever battered remains of a team we have left.

Just got back

We were coasting easy until the sending off, thought it was going to be at least 4 and happy days for the away leg.

Judging by the couple of posts above, Collins deserved to go although at first look he seemed to get the ball

Even after the sending off we continued to attack which was pleasing but difficult with no quality upfront

Thought we played well the sending off just ruined it

Had a look at the BBC report which said the team were booed at the final whistle, that's b*llocks it was at the ref... It continued until he left the field and was followed by clapping for our players as they came off which they acknowledged

Burke came on and was better at RB than JOB so gives another option

Oxford impressed again Noble looks a different player

Payet is quality but really needs some quality up with him

A strong team in the second leg should win but potential risk for the arsenal game

Doesn't look good for Enner sadly.

Every team has just added a few million on their strikers when we enquire now.

West Ham are back.

Ups & downs, comedy defending, unable to keep discipline & looking like relegation fodder.

We all cried out for this, some excitement & talking points after matches.

We have plenty of talking points tonight after that f**king mess.

This was all predicted long ago & now we are seeing it unfold in front of our eyes.

As another poster said a few pages back this season is going to end up like our worst nightmares.

Why do we f**king do it to ourselves??? Headbanger

Because one of our players always gets injured, it's just what happens before the season starts. It's very sad, but it's just something that routinely happens at West Ham.

i'll repeat myself one more time:

because vitesse play a much more honest, open attacking not falling to the ground at every opportunity game..that's why southampton had a much easier game.
