Yes. Just because someone scores goals, it doesn't follow you should put them up front. Lampard was scoring 20 a season from central midfield. Moving him up front would not in any way have increased the number of goals he scored because his skill was getting goals from deeper positions/arriving late in the box. Same with Antonio, he scores his goals because he arrives on the far post from a wide position, where he'll beat the full back to the ball virtually every time.

I put ahead of Payet as our best player, a fantastic advert for non league players coming through with determination and persistence and faith in their own ability, Vardy is another one , none of this coaching out instinctive choice of play.

Vardy is a dirty scum diver , Antonio is a hard working decent bloke, I know which one i'd want my daughter to date, how you can compare the two is unbelievable, Vardy isn't fit to lace Antonio's boots

He is a great find. I have got myself tickets for England Vs the jocks in November. I hope iron mike keeps this form up and gets pick for the game at some point

him with a 70th min winner would be outstanding

The one continual bright spark of the season. He was even very good tracking back and making some important tackles and clearances today.

We just need another 10 Antonios to get back on track. He never stops. I can't say the same about many others.

Fancy wasting all that time experimenting with him at right back. I'm convinced he'll get close to 20 this season.

And he only cost us 7m. To think that, before he'd even kicked a ball for us, people wanted Fehgouli in ahead of our hero.

id like to see Iron Mike switched to the left (which he played for forest and did well today there) to bring Fehgouli into the team

Payet is much better through the middle

Was thinking the same during the game...

.............................Adrian
Arbeloa f*** knows f*** knows II Masuaku

.....................Noble......Obiang

Antonio...............Payet..............Feghouli

..........................Fletcher

We need to start dominating the spine of the team somehow by keeping hold of the ball from top to toe.

I'm contemplating Oxford and Reid at Centre Half. Think it might be the best answer right now.
