Spurs fans were the least knowledgeable - finishing bottom of the table with a 61.4. And those unforgiving West Ham fans? A respectable fourth-placed finish with a score of 63.8.

The close season need not deprive us of the opportunity to express our appreciation of our man as he is putting his head above the parapet at the Euros, notably failing to get a single result right in group F as part of his overall 42% score to date.

England v Iceland (20:00 BST, Nice)

We know what to expect from Iceland - they will sit back, try to stay in the game and play on the break.

It has worked for them so far but I just think that, if England turn up, they will create as many chances as they did in their group games, and this time the goals will come.

Iceland boss Lars Lagerback did not lose to England in six matches as Sweden boss, but I think he will taste defeat on Monday.

If England do play France in the last eight, it will be hard for them of course - but it is the same when you get to the quarter-finals of any major tournament.

Lawro's prediction: 3-0
His other last 16 predictions:

Saturday, 25 June

Switzerland v Poland 0-2
Wales v Northern Ireland 1-0
Croatia v Portugal 1-1 AET (Portugal to win on penalties)

Sunday, 26 June
France v Republic of Ireland 1-0
Germany v Slovakia 2-0
Hungary v Belgium 0-2

Monday, 27 June
Italy v Spain 0-1

Co-commentator: Mark Lawrenson

I met Lawrenson last year and he’s a lovely man, so it genuinely pains me to be part of the chorus of voices calling for the poor sod to be put out of his misery. For some time now ‘Lawro’ has given the impression of someone who simply doesn’t like football anymore, or does like it but sees commentating as a really good way to audition for the role of sarcastic team captain on a BBC Two panel show. He has now also slipped into making really bizarre remarks, such as suggesting the Sweden defender Andreas Granqvist “went down like custard” during their 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland. Seriously, let’s bring him home.

Genuine updates on the BBC Sports Website, courtesy of their Football "Expert" in Lyon.

France have had extra time to prepare, it is very hot and they will be up for this fight"
