West Ham v Burnley (FA Cup fifth round, 2000 GMT)
Eddie Howe has done very well since taking over at Burnley but, if West Ham boss Avram Grant picks anything like his strongest team, then you would expect the Hammers to have a little bit too much firepower for the Championship side.
Robbie Keane is unavailable because he is injured but, between them Demba Ba, Frederic Piquionne, Carlton Cole and Victor Obinna - who scored a hat-trick in the last round against Nottingham Forest - have got plenty of goals in them.
From his time at Portsmouth, Grant knows the value of a good cup run too, so I would expect him to pick a strong side. He has new strikers like Ba that he needs to bed into his side for their fight against relegation so why not play them against Burnley and along the way give his side a better chance of getting into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup too?
Prediction: 2-1

West Ham v Liverpool (Sunday, 1330 GMT)
West Ham have scored eight goals in their last two matches and suddenly they have started to look very strong in that department.
That will certainly help them in their battle to stay up.
But I am going to go for a draw here.
Liverpool will go to Upton Park and concentrate on being difficult to beat.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has used the three centre-back system on a few occasions now and he will probably do that again here to try to nullify the West Ham attack.
Prediction: West Ham United 1-1 Liverpool
This would put West Ham in 14th place in the table on 29 points, according to his 2010-11 Premier League predictions.
In fact, the Hammers are currently in 19th place on 25 points going into the game at Upton Park.
Here are all of Lawro's predictions for the season, together with how the League Table would look like if he was correct...

Re: Lawro at it again !
Well at least Lawro has finally got out of the habit of predicting a Liverpool win every time they play.

West Ham United v Stoke City
West Ham have suddenly started finding goals from everywhere and were very impressive in their win over Liverpool on Sunday.
Scott Parker ran the show in that game, and he has been Mr West Ham all season.
Thomas Hitzlsperger is a decent player and is now fit to play alongside Parker in midfield, then up front they have the likes of Demba Ba and Frederic Piquionne.
Both of them look full of goals and full of running at the moment.
Stoke are no pushovers but, on the road, they are beatable and I am going to go for a narrow Hammers victory.
Prediction: West Ham United 2-1 Stoke City
This would put West Ham in 13th place on 32 points, according to Lawro's predictions for the season.
In fact, the Hammers go into the game in 19th place with 28 points.

SUNDAY
Stoke City v West Ham
Stoke v West Ham (1400 GMT)
It is a bit worrying for Stoke that they are just starting to flirt with relegation. They are now only three points above the Premier League drop zone, although I still think they are too strong to go down.
In contrast, all of a sudden West Ham look so strong playing 4-3-3 with Scott Parker, Mark Noble and Thomas Hitzlsperger in midfield and goals flying in from everywhere up front.
But I am not quite sure whether Hammers manager Avram Grant will see this game as a priority. They are the form team among the bottom six or eight sides in the league and his focus will be on making sure that run continues, so I wonder if he might rest a few players at the Britannia Stadium.
So I am going for Stoke to reach Wembley for the first time since they won the Autoglass Trophy in 2000, and reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1972, which will be a fantastic reward for their fans.

No, we're the form team among everyone bar L'Arse, Chelski and Liverpool. Stoke are pretty-much as bad as it gets right now.Lawro wrote:(West Ham) are the form team among the bottom six or eight sides in the league
