Kumb AppDo you have plans to make a KUMB App in the near future?
Don't know if this is the right forum, I have been using my phone to surf the interweb and on it kumb. Mostly it's easy to navigate, but it is quite difficult to post. I'm using the Dolphin browser at the moment, but have the same issue on the Opera. The window is small, and it is impossible to see what you write. Any chance that kumb can become more phonefriendly?
Re: Kumb AppPlus 2
Re: Kumb AppNo plans at present, what platform are you chaps using?
Re: Kumb AppAndroid for me.
What about Kumb using phpBB's mobile version rather than an app?
Re: Kumb AppOnly Android
Would appreciate anything that would make it easier to read/write on a phone.
Re: Kumb AppAndroid here too!
Re: Kumb App
I wasn't aware it existed '66 ... will certainly look into the possibility. Link?
Re: Kumb AppYou could click on the Powered by phpBB link at the bottom of the topic - and type 'mobile' in the search box
or http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2092248
Re: Kumb AppEither would do me fine. The iPhone browsers keep losing the logon, even between pages. Very crappy.
Androids better for browsing by far.
Re: Kumb AppI've not had to sign in with my Blackberry for weeks. Shame the screen is so small. Upgrade soon, bigger screen required.
Re: Kumb AppThere is an android app (not sure if it's available on iphone) for viewing forums - Tapatalk. It is a paid app (£1.99) and it needs to be authorised in some way by the forum itself. It seems to work well though on the forums I use it for.
Re: Kumb App
What does this do? I often get a pop up saying that a site is tapatalk compatible, but I've yet to try it out
Re: Kumb App
Basically it just makes viewing forums much easier on a smartphone than through the phone's web browser with all the faffing about re-sizing you get with that. You get a front page which is a list of forums you're signed up with (that are on tapatalk) then click on the one you want to browse. I'm not had it long so haven't discovered all the bells and whistles but you can set it to send notifications to your phone if someone replies to one of your threads or posts, or sends you a PM.
Re: Kumb AppOk ta
Re: Kumb AppLooks good! Needs to be enabled for here then I assume?
Re: Kumb Appiphone, but yes an app would be excellent.
Re: Kumb Appi phone. An app would be great and I would pay for it!
Re: Kumb App
It is also on the iphone, very popular all my other forums that I frequent use it (or have an app) , only KUMB makes me use a browser these days
