This German side, like every German side, knows how to win

Gonna take some stopping in my opinion

French need to do more of what Griezman just did. Go at them. They can be had if you challenge them with pace.

Same old Germany, they don't look great but often get the job done. France went out with a whimper.

Disappointed in the French. Feels like they've exited this match with something left in their tank.

I disagree fj.
I think he was woefully underused.
All France's attacks went down their left, he was made a spectator by Deschamps' tactics.
When he had the ball, he impressed.

His job is to get involved. You have to impose yourself, especially in central mid. None of the French did. I agree he was good when he had the ball, but it wasn't often enough. He's petulant and whiney and rather than roll his sleeves up he throws his hands up.

He could be excellent, but right now I don't think he is.

I reckon France simply got found out by a decent team

Their route this far is the only reason they made the last 16, in my opinion, look at the meal they made of qualifying for the thing compared to who they've played at the World Cup itself, I see nothing much ahead of Italy, Bosnia, Spain, England or Portugal. Aside from opposition

All purely coincidental though

Dissapointing French team. Yes the conditions were difficult, but at least have a go at it.

Only good thing about is, that after the Matuidi incident from last game, i am kinda glad they're out.

Pfft.

France just decided, "Merde!", turned on their heels and bailed. And quite right too. It's too hot out there to be arseing about, proving that they're the superior team in a silly contest when they already know they're the best. Why try harder?

Could've won it any time they wanted to. Decided not to bother. I for one applaud their strength of character.

At his young age I think he does what his Manager tells him.

Once again, Germany get the job done.

Looking like an almighty match up against Brazil. Match of the tournament if Brazil get through.

Not if but when Brazil, get through the officials with shiny arses and the officials on the pitch are seeing to that.
