Without James, they've got basically nothing. Their central mids were poor today. Aguilar was missed.
Was very poor tonight

Disappointing game, completely ruined by the referee in my opinion. If he had the b*llocks to actually book the brazil players in the first half, the game could've much more even, which Colombia attacking brazil a lot more.

Seems the brazilian players especially that lad in the middle, fernando (?) can get away with whatever they want this tournament

Can't wait to see Brazil get taken apart by zee Germans. I'll be watching it at the German embassy whilst consuming copious amounts of strong beer and bratwursts.

Is David Luiz that religious, or does he simply do that celebration so the cameras linger on him a bit longer?

Hope Neymar is out of the WC.

Fuming with the referee, ruined potentially a great game by letting the Brazilians get away with stopping every attack with a foul, we all moan at card happy refs, but that was a shocking refereeing performance

Why would you hope that? One of the players of the tournament. Not their fault the ref was weak. Would rather watch Brazil than the boring German team we saw this afternoon.

Agreed every tackle he makes is dangerous, he sticks his body in as well so that if the man beats him then his body takes the opposition or they go square into him, scum and dangerous play.

Tim Vickery said it right, Brazil are happy whilst they are winning but all around the world they are losing friends. Where are the class Brazil in players like we grew up watching?

Yes, just read that.

I honestly thought that he was time wasting (as per normal) but that is quite a blow.

Silva and Neymar out. The Germans will be absolutely loving this.

Too bad about Neymar.

The ref was a joke. Brazil could easily have 5-6 yellows at least. Automatic yellow on the free kick. All the brutal fouls on Rodriguez should have brought at the very least one for Persistent Infringement. Rodriguez made one innocuous slide and gets a yellow. He showed the ref 1,2,3,4 fingers to show he was continuously fouled. It's obvious the ref didn't want any players from the 'home' team to be suspended for the SF. It was a brutal game with many reckless challenges and blows to the face.
It reminded of a typical Greek Derby match that has about 50 fouls but not as brutal as this one. I can't be for Germany so I hope a team from the other side wins the cup.

I feel a bit dirty but I'll be backing Germany in the semi-final after watching Brazil trying to kick James out of the game last night. The ref was hopeless and I've never seen a Brazil side hoof the ball as much as this one.

Scolari whinging about the foul that led to the injury.....didn't mind when his team were kicking **** out of the opposition.

The ref was awful....should have pulled out a few yellows early on and kept control. All we got was foul after foul as players knew they could get away with it.
