Euro 2016 Tickets

Post by Fishbone »

In the absence of a specific forum...(Nudge, nudge)

Did anyone else apply and be successful for the tickets in the ballot?

Out of 5 games (4 tickets applied for each game), I got one game. Bit disappointed but glad I have one set. Just need England to to be drawn in this group!

Match 9, Monday 13 June 2016, 18:00, Saint-Denis - Stade de France, E3 vs. E4

I didn't apply for any and I've got 5 or 6 cos I know some people in Lille and Marseille who are hooking me up.

i applied, but only for the most unlikely. So no surprise with the email this morning. Just waiting to hear from my flat mate who did the same.

Not sure why anyone would apply though the ballot just gone, without knowing whose playing where. For all you know you've pulled out Bosnia vs Iceland.

Better off waiting for the December ballot & choosing games there

I'd be absolutely ecstatic if I got to go to Bosnia Iceland.

that is why i only went for the semi's and final.. highly unlikely outcome but you gotta be in it. Mind you this draw is in the hands of a football governing body, it was never likely.

My group got E1 vs E2 in Lyon, if it's not a glamourous draw we'll sell them on to that country's fans for a higher price, simple

Because it's not 'just' about the game. We had an absolute superb time in Germany 2006 and the only game I saw live was Tunisia vs Saudi Arabia. Spent a few days in the fan parks for the England games but the atmosphere around Germany was brilliant. Plus, this time have 6 year old with me so wanted the guarantee to take him to at least one game.

We will also apply in December (which will be even less chance than this ballot) and try with the resales, but happy that we have one game in the bag.

Applied for two tickets for a group game in Toulouse on Fri 17th June, and got lucky. I have friends who live 90 minutes away from there. It was a "high demand" game according to the website so with a 35k capacity will hopefully be full and make it a good experience regardless.
Also applied for two tickets for the final itself - unsurprisingly unsuccessfully.

Applied for 5 and got 3.

Staying in Lille and got -

Match 7, Sunday 12th June, 21:00, Lille, C1 vs C2

Match 9, Monday 13th June, 18:00, Saint-Denis - Paris, E3 vs E4

Match 13, Wednesday 15th June, 15:00, Lille, B2 vs B4

I think I did well as applied for Cat 1 seats. €145 each

Three of us applied for a total of 30 games between us through the ballot, planning on just over 2 weeks out there, and got 2 games

We will all have England tickets through the FA, buts its good to get around the country and see other games.

None for me. Though given what I applied for, I wasn't optimistic.

I applied for four games, and got one game (A2 vs A3) in Lyon, the most local stadium to me.

There will be an official UEFA ticket resale site that goes live a bit later on, and no doubt there will be future rounds of sale as more tickets are made available.
