Hart will keep his place despite basic errors, not because there is no one else, but because of the FA's sponsorship stance. Worth far more financially than winning games of football[/quote]

He's head and shoulders above Forster.

Chalks, that is a serious vendetta you have against Roy and The FA.

To suggest players are chosen to play for their country based on sponsorship deals is ludicrous.

But yet no one has ever been able to provide a sniff of evidence to even create a news story, let alone prove it

Hodgson is an idiot. Always has been. But he selects what he thinks (rightly or wrongly) is the best squad and team. He may subconsciously be swayed by players from 'big' clubs like any other international manager but nothing more sinister than that

Also no idea why people seem to think the English players care less than players from other countries. As someone else said it is easy to be considered more 'up for it' if you are a small country and even getting a win is reason to party. Smaller nations have always punched above their weight in these tournaments. But that is more due to team spirit and individuals raising their own games above their normal level than 'caring' more. England have never had a meltdown like France and Netherlands have in the past

Each to their own, of course, but why anyone would support a nationap team with a single west ham player in above england juat seems weird. That player might have left weSt ham by the beginning of next season! Club players come and go. If norway were in it would you support norway because that new bloke we have signed plays for them? Would you still support France over England if Payet went to Real Madrid tomorrow? Woukd you have supported England if Noble was in the squad?

Drinkwater and Noble both would've held the play up at least or stopped Ireland's second

Is anyone surprised by this, thought we were lucky to get out of the group. Total ****. Have not been excited by one England game, prefer watching the teams with skill and passion. England are a joke.
