Though i have my ticket for the Quarter Final at Gelsenkirchen booked i'm still after tickets to at least one more game...best bet now i reckon is to just every day several times a day to check the Fifa website for any spare tickets. At the moment there are none.

Can always try entering this competition, giving away tickets every 48 hours:

So whos putting a bet on the World Cup?

Im looking at doing a double on France winning it with Henry as top goalscorer for the tournament.

£5 stake wins £845 on Coral..... sounds good to me 8-)

i am suprised at those odds being given ... are you sure... they do not normally double on something like that... if france win the world cup it is very likely ay that henry will be the top goalscorer.....

oh and anyway france are not going to win it ....

Ticket allocation decisions announced this morning on englandfans site.

No luck!

So I am after a spare ticket for the opening game 10.6.06 against Paraguay - cat 1 - half way line....

(Bob hope, stanford-le hope and no hope!)

Anyone going to the first game by train? Airfares went up over 50% this morning on sites such as expedia.com - post announcement of ticket allocation.

Air fares went from 99 quid to 245 quid on some airlines minutes after the announcement of the World Cup draw and where the England games were gonna be played. :rolleyees:

There was a story (cant remember the airline) where a bloke was watching the draw, had the website of the airline loaded and was told a ticket ws 99 quid, so went to book, website froze, so he logged back in, entered the same details and the ticket had gone up to 245 quid. no_no
