England back-up keeper Robert Green has agreed a two-year deal with QPR
Green, 32, who will be out of contract with West Ham at the end of this month, snubbed an offer from Spanish side Malaga to stay in London.
He said: “I’m excited about the challenge ahead.
“It’s an exciting period for everybody connected to QPR and I can’t wait to get started.”
Rangers boss Mark Hughes said: “Rob is someone with vast experience at international and Premier League level and his pedigree speaks for itself.”
Green will be on around £50,000 a week as the Hoops’ first-choice keeper in place of Paddy Kenny, who is likely to join Leeds.
Kenny, who has a year left on his Loftus Road deal, has told Hughes he does not want to sit on the bench.

England keeper Green excited by QPR challenge after sealing two-year deal at Loftus Road
Queens Park Rangers have signed England goalkeeper Rob Green on a two-year deal after he left West Ham at the end of last season.
The 32 year-old will officially join on July 1 when his contract at Upon Park expires and he becomes manager Mark Hughes’ third summer singing, following deals for defender Ryan Nelsen and striker Andrew Johnson.
Green, who is currently with the England squad at the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine, has made over 480 Club appearances throughout his career.
Hughes expressed his delight at attracting the keeper to Loftus Road, he said: 'It was important we brought another quality keeper into the group.
'Rob is obviously someone with vast experience at international and Premier League level and his pedigree speaks for itself.
'He’s got all the characteristics of a top keeper and he’ll be a huge addition for us who will stimulate the goalkeeping group, which can only be good for the squad as a whole.'
Green is expected to replace current No 1 Paddy Kenny, who has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road and could link up with former boss Neil Warnock at Leeds.
Green, who has made 12 starts for the Three Lions, said: 'I'm delighted to be here.
'I'm excited about the challenge ahead and hugely encouraged by the direction in which the owners and Mark Hughes are looking to take the club.
'It's an exciting period for everybody connected to QPR and I can't wait to get started.'

Transfer Announcements Soon?
According to various Twitter sources, West Ham are on the verge of clinching some exciting transfer deals. Firstly, they claim that a West Ham bid for Grant Holt has been accepted, the player has agreed terms and the deal should be confirmed before Saturday. Secondly, we are allegedly on the verge of agreeing a season long loan deal for Inter-Milan forward Luc Castaignos, with a view to a permanent move next summer, and a permanent £7m deal for Juventus winger Elias. Take or leave these twitter sources as you think fit, but lets hope that they are right this time!
Elsewhere, we are also being linked with a £4m move for Evian's pacy forward Yannick Sagbo. We shall have to see whether that one has any validity? But it has gone very quiet on the proposed deal for Wilfred Zaha. It wil be great pity if the deal does not happen, as Zaha is a player of enormous potential.
So, if the twitter speculation is correct, we can look forward to the unveiling of a trio of new forwards next week! And then David Sullivan can start turning his attention to transfer moves to reinforce the defence. There George McCartney, Scott Dann and Jonas Olsson are likely to be among his prime transfer targets.

After victory over Ukraine, they face a difficult but beatable Italy in the quarter-final tie in Kiev.
But how well do you know the history behind England's opponents and the state of the current Azzurri?
In association with official England Autograph suit suppliers Marks & Spencer, we have laid on another of our weekly Friday quizzes to boggle your brain cells ahead of our lads' next big game.

A little happy news from 3am this morning. My brother and his wife have a healthy 9lb 1 boy named Billy.
When asked Big Sam said" the lad has a great pair of lungs but may need to grow up a bit before he can hold down
a first team spot." " Pre season will be important, lets see how it all works out"

Re: friday's news 22nd june includes west ham
A real shame about nouble going. I really felt he wasn't being used properly by us or by whoever he was sent out on loan with. He is a very similar player to carlton and should have been played as a centre forward but for some reason he kept being stuck out on the wing. His career may well come to nothing as has many other players who we all saw potential in but got rid of, but i see no less potential in him than freddie sears, yet at the moment it looks like sears stays or gets sent out on loan again for another season.
