Manchester City will open up with a £15m bid for Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, 28, but Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain also want the player, who has decided against signing a new contract.

Wayne Bridge - Brighton paying 10k a week of his wages. We should have gone in on that basis. Maybe even offered 15k. Over a season he'd be amore than decent premier defender - especially if he had a full pre-season.

Id alos try for hoillett - if we are interested ina winger. Surely the big Sam connection would help there - if our rivals are the likes of QPR
