It has crossed my mind, that Sam has been fairly quick with his litigation against Steve Keane, yet so far, nothing against Peter Harrison for the comments and allegations he regularly posts on twitter.
I wonder why that is...?

Thanks CH.
If Little sam goes I'd be sad for him . Esp if Big Sam goes at the end of his contract next year.
Imagine Little Sam under Franco.

I think he made the first team at 17 (ish?) so 14 yrs. He was with us from the age of 14 (hence the 17 years)bobd_uk wrote:
= 18 games per season as an average over 17 seasons.
In the 10 seasons between 2000-01 & 2009-10 he averaged almost 29 games a season.
Shame it was not more because he was up there with almost any defender i have seen at the Lane in over 40 years.

I have had the mis-fortune to watch John Lacey play CH for us. The 7-0 loss away to LFC was not one of his better games. Wasn't a bad day out all in all though.Bobby Orangeboom wrote:Bear in mind in the last 20 he's had Ramon Vega, Kevin Scott, Chris Perry, Colin Calderwood and the like as his competition so.........

Re: thursday's news 19th july includes west ham
According to the Mirror, Sir Alex Ferguson "is understood to have told footballing friends" that he is confident of securing the scrawl of Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, ahead of Manchester City and Juventus. This may well be true, but then Sir Alex wouldn't be the first person to make implausibly self-aggrandising predictions regarding achievements in the workplace, only to end up looking foolish when he ends up scouring newspapers in search of football transfer-related tittle-tattle for a living.
Marseille's 22-year-old Spanish right-back César Azpilicueta is in London for the Olympics and will stay here if Chelsea have anything to do with it. The Champions League winners have made enquiries about the defender before, but now hope he will be seduced by the capital's special IOC traffic lanes, a state of affairs which could prove tricky considering his country kick off their Olympic campaign in the famous London borough of … Glasgow.
Jolly Geordie giant Andy Carroll wants his future sorted out next week. Although Liverpool want to sell him and have already rejected the advances of Newcastle, who were interested in offering their former striker a loan move, they would consider farming him out to Milan for a season. Carroll, however, is determined to stay at Anfield … but would settle for being farmed out to Milan or anywhere else for a season.
The news that Barcelona's Dutch winger Ibrahim Afellay is unwanted by new Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has sparked interest at Arsenal and Liverpool, who clearly aren't as picky. Meanwhile at Craven Cottage, the Fulham HR department are bracing themselves for an influx that could include all or none of free agent Nigel Reo Coker, Evian's Ivorian striker Yannick Sagbo, his Huddersfield counterpart Jordan Rhodes and Juventus No9 Vincenzo Iaquinto.
Fulham's desperation to sign a striker would suggest that Clint Dempsey may be on his way, but talk linking him to Liverpool will remain exactly that, unless the Merseyside club stump up £10m in exchange for the American. Possibly having got wind of yesterday's speculation linking Theo Walcott with Liverpool, Arsène Wenger is ready to sit down with the youngster's 'people' and discuss the possibility of him not becoming the latest Arsenal player to upset the Emirates faithful by almost running down his contract then slinging his hook. The possible arrival of 17-year-old French whelp M'Baye Niang may or may not prove a priceless bargaining tool, although Tottenham and Manchester City are also believed to view the Caen striker as one for the future.
If the race to sign Lyon's 24-year-old France defender Aly Cissokho was an Olympic sport, Internazionale and Napoli would be neck and neck as they entered the home straight, while Newcastle would be huffing and puffing and hoping not to be lapped. Meanwhile in the Olympic Stadium changing rooms, Sunderland, Wigan and Everton would be limbering up in preparation for the London 2012 blue riband event: the 100m dash to sign Blackpool winger Matt Phillips.
And finally, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar reckons there's not much chance of him moving anywhere this summer, having told German newspaper Bild that "in my head, I'm only with Schalke". Obviously things could change if, say, for example, in Sheikh Mansour's head he turns out to be only with Manchester City.
