Would like to see Noble get a contract extension, but would also like to see him prove he's worth it by playing out of his skin for the first 3 or 4 months of the season which would help our chances of staying up no end. Open talks at xmas after he's done the business for us.

This may sound a little silly, but Noble was quality last year and always showed he can become a very good footballer. Is it possible that big Sams style suites Mark very well, meaning he has another great season, resulting in other mid table premier league clubs offering double the wages that we are and losing him on a free?
