Sad day yesterday with the funeral of Drummer Lee Rigby. It was red hot and one of the older veterans by the side of me collapsed in the heat.

If we are successful in obtaining a work permit for Zapata, it might be as much a month before he is ready for first team action. The work permit could take as much as a couple of weeks to come through, then we have to register him as a player, which could take another couple of days to sort out and then we will have to raise his fitness levels, most probably, first of all in the gym, then sharpen him up at the training ground, before he his ready to play. All of this would mean he is likely only to play one or two, maximum, pre-season friendlies, before the season proper gets under way
