Nemind CH it's a quiet week but thanks for your efforts once again! The Song to Chelsea story is worthy of debate as I thought he wasn't having the best of times and everyone's on his back. I'd hate to se him go there and become a regular!
Re: monday's mews 30 march includes the irons
Thanks very much CH
One thing about the Song to Chelsea story, Song's value has certainly dipped since the turn of the year!! If he can find his form between now and the end of the season, he would be a very good signing, but as it stands, I'm indifferent.

Cheers CH. Chelsea signing Song makes sense as they can afford to drop him when his form dips whereas we need a player who can be reliably consistent. We know how good he can be but playing how he has recently, he's just an expensive luxury offering little in terms of value for money. Yeah not unlike sicknote I hear someone say.

He would also fit in much better to their short passing style of play - the number of times he has hit passes (or tried to) into space that our lot don't see - but would suit Hazard, Oscar, Costa etc Though I suspect this is his agent trying to nudge the Daves (and every other club in the EPL)claret parrot wrote:Cheers CH. Ta CH.
Chelsea would test Songs 'not wanting to sit on the bench' thinking.

So true Paddy. They're talking £10m for him which at today's prices what with the increase in TV money, would be an absolute steal if his performances had stayed at the level they were when we first got him.
That's also fair comment NW5
