I have been to nearly every home game and 2 aways. I have not at any stage been asked to provide an opinion.

We have no need to leave the Boleyn.

That is no doubt why I have not been consulted.

Pinky - I have spoken to Ian Tomkins a few times, does this count?. Comes across as very reasonable. Still couldn't convince me about the move though which is why I have voted no in the poll. The sticking point as usual came down to viewing distances from the pitch.
Unlike your good self though I will still go to the OS should we move there.

PP, you appear to be a bright man so im not sure what your trying to prove on this thread, you know the score with this, they are and quite necesserily have taken a politicians approach to get this through, if they had spoken to only 2 supporters then the statement he made is true.

Not exactly going to find a diffinitive answer here are you PP?
But, no doubt, they will still use KUMB's survey as part of their propoganda. Once the dust as settled, I think the two Daves owe Levy at least a pint. Without Spurs entering the bidding process, they would never of been able to quote a poll that favoured the move.

Perhaps I have always had a problem with authority, but I can not understand the blind loyalty to the Porn Twins. You can use semantics to defend their words all you like, the simple truth is that they will tell the media anything to make their case look better.

Finally, there are a lot of sore winners on here. I was placed into the Anti-Brigade, despite having many different views to others, and I have now conceded defeat. WHUFC's website was not perfect, but the man stood up for his beliefs. The Pro Crowd did not have such a website, but spouted off worse half truths and conjecture on these forums than was found on that Website. Enjoy your "win", but let old arguements go. We are going to the OS regardless of anyone's views. I doubt that there will be protests, but let's all work to make our voices heard so we get the best stadium we can.

This has never been a case of whether we should or shouldn't be consulted. This is a case of those pair of c**** stating in their 10 point plan that they would consult fans. They have failed to do that with me and at least 25 others I sit with.

Didn't a previous administration consult fans about a potential move to Essex?

I also don't see the point of consulting fans if / once we've got it.

Edit.....

Plus the KUMB poll purely gives an indication of feelings amongst members of this site. The only people that should be consulted are Bond holders, ST holders and members.

Since they weren't going to consult the 700,000 on the database, I tried to consult the club via the Olympic Director.

Alas my straight forward simple question was too much for him and he never replied, after saying originally he would get back to me :thdn:

Excellent post from someone else who voted no. Once again lets be clear on this not because I am against leaving the Boleyn but because I do not feel that the OS is fit for purpose. It would seem though that we are going there regardless so lets get the best we can.

Spurs coming into the running was a good thing for G&S. It made fans want the stadium. The result of that poll would have been completely different had they not

People voted to keep them away not to get us in

Really crap stadium for football. Just hope we make the most out of it

Home and away season ticket holder.
No, I wasn't consulted. Although to be fair, they did ask if I'd be interested in pie mash and a padded seat.

I was initially against it, for obvious reasons. But I think that for group mentality, a change and break from the burden of UP could be good for the joint mental ethos of the players (who will come and go but the WH mentality will remain the same), as well as the fans / crowd.

If we have a winning first or second season there, it could change our fortunes.

Fairly obviously the case. TPP, I believe this is generally known around West Ham these days as a 'Duxbury'. Wording something to appear to imply one thing, but actually leaving yourself wriggle room to go back on what only appeared to be your word later.

This misses the obvious point that they're not in court where such technicalities might matter, and everyone will just think they're a ****. I take it you're hoping to whip up a bit of the **** effect?

I'm aware that they stated they'd consult with fans. Which they obviously have.

At the same time, why would they even bother? It's no way to run a business and in particular with regard to such a massive decision.

I hate the belittling of the West Ham support by some but at the same time you'd have to question the business acumen of your average West Ham fan. Could they see the long term benefits to an organisation such a move would encapsulate? Unlikely.

I'd have no real gripe with them if they didn't consult fans to be honest.

I've got it! They mean the fans in 2014. No one on kumb will have been spoken to because we're all being sidelined. They took the first poll on the subject to heart and have been concentrating efforts on completley replacing the fanbase. It's so simple it's genius.

Sullivan consulted me himself, tbf.

I remember it distinctly; he made me a cup of tea, asked me about the OS, then he sucked me off while I browsed a streaming grot site, which I thought was rather...

Oh hang on... no, that was a dream I had. No, thinking about it, I haven't been consulted, no.

Seriously though Pink, what are you trying to achieve here, mate? They'll have done a survey full of loaded questions ("1. How excited are you about the move? a)Excited b)Really Excited c)****ing b*stard excited d)You've just slung your jelly in your trousers, you're so excited?") to a cherry-picked group of thirty people. At the most. Just so's they can say, "We consulted the fans." You know how this thread's going to go. Unless you're going to go to Watchdog or Rogue Traders with the results, I don't know what point you're making that we're not already well aware of (that pretty much no bugger was consulted).

I DO love you, though xxx

They didn't need to "consult" anyone really, a couple of hours here would of informed that a sizeable proportion of the fanbase saw the merit in moving to the new stadium.
