Like i've said before it's probably a great venue to watch athletics but from what i can see on every photo so far it's just not somewhere i'd want to watch west ham play their 'home games'. Maybe its time for a new generation of hammers fans

judging by those photos I'd say you get a better view in the upper tier than the lower tier, although you will be more than 200 feet away from the pitch in the upper tier. So the best view will be in the pub watching the TV, that should make for a great atmosphere.

Not to bad at the side but behind the goal is terrible.

Good comparison with views at BG ... I am in the first pic with my kids. 2 O'clock from top right hand corner of scoreboard, very small specks to the right of the black V, right at the top ...we were first in the seats

Cheers for posting these!
Obviously we know this is not how it will be configured for when we go there.
But thanks for taking the time to go and post these.
Comparing this with the seat you currently hold is irrelevant though, as it will not be the same when/if we go

Cheers for posting mate. Still reserving judgement for when I see the plans for when the stadium is converted. retractable seating will make a big difference and according to clungewhu on twitter our plans will be a revelation. We shall see.

Thanks to those photos I've changed my mind. The park area looks nice but thats where the positives end.
Previously I was 100% in support of moving to the OS for a number of reasons but after what I've just seen, there isn't a decent view to be had unless your in a Cat1 or Cat 2 side on/upper level seat. The view from the ends is appaling.
I really hope we DONT get approval to move there. Other than better transpot links and an increased capacity, everything else about the OS is a massive negative in my book and will lose us match day fans support and slowly strangle us as a club.

I'd hold fire on hoping we don't get approval. You're seeing pictures of an athletics stadium. Clearly for the stadium to work, it'll need to be reconfigured in some way.

That view from the corner and behind the goal is horrible.

No it's not. I thought there was a decent view from pretty much everywhere when I went to the stadium.

Plans? Are you sure they were 'plans'?

Thanks for that Pop. What a horrible place. Just by looking at your photos you can 'feel' how soulless the place will be. The more this whole fiasco goes on the more anti I become. The very thought of that place makes me feel sick.

You havent even been there, you dont know anything about the plans, and you think youre in a position to pass judgement about what its going to be like? there's a lot of knickerwetting going on in these threads.

I can't believe people think that we will massively reconfigure this into a 'football' ground. It just won't happen, the costs and logistical problems mean it just won't happen.
