Interesting that when I emailed the club informing them why I won't be attending the SAB tonight they replied saying they'd already read my post on KUMB.

Haha, maybe you should have told them before you told us to be fair.
On a more positive note, Esha will have seen all my great tactical ideas, my stadium redevelopment ideas, my great kit designs and my great new badge in the main forum and I can surely at last expect a bumper offer letter in the post to come back home and head up pretty much everything to do with the club.

I told them just after I posted in the OS forum (which relatively few read) and before I posted in main forum.sutts07 wrote:Haha, maybe you should have told them before you told us to be fair.

I do hope they are reading our posts on here, then hopefully they will know its generally the same few forum posters that are voicing opinion against the OS.

Oh Ray, they do know that .Rays Rock wrote:I do hope they are reading our posts on here, then hopefully they will know its generally the same few forum posters that are voicing opinion against the OS.
They also know most of them haven't missed a game since God was a boy .
They may not have realised that those of you who are pro the move hardly ever buy a ticket currently .
They're gambling your expenditure in the future will exceed what they lose from those of us that drop out .
However, we both know you ain't going to go week in week out though don't we .

I'm sure this site ( sorry Miles) has rules against Trolling .Rays Rock wrote:Ha Ha, I knew you would bite first.
I do note however you haven't contradicted my assessment that you won't be going week in week out at the Athletics stadium though .

Speaking for myself, they know who I am becasue a fellow KUMBER "outed me" ( and did so in all innocence and without a hint of malice - just in conversation with someone at the club) .
Mushy , we know the "legally binding agreement" has less teeth than that 85 year old escort granny on the telly last week but that isn't the point .The point is it's an uncomfortable feeling eing told you are being informed of something in confidence and then spilling the beans .
It's why I packed in going to those meetings .I'm mortified anyone I know would think I was agreeing or endorsing some of the stuff that is going on .
At least three moderators of this site are on the SAB , ample scope to spread the word if they deem it appropriate , however, I can well understand why they may choose not to if they have signed the NDA.

No, I haven't contradicted it, in the same way you have not recognised the light hearted nature of my post ribbing you. Therefore causing you to have a sense of humour failure.
However, I didn't realise the Olympic stadium was going to be reserved for season ticket holders only.
p.s
If trolling = a bit of ribbing / banter, followed by the complete failure of another posters sense of humour failure, then I stand guilty of all charges your excellency.

Re: SAB Meeting 14th May - Non Disclosure - again
You see, thats the bit I dont get, surely nobody would say to anyone at the club, 'That bloke over there, he is Pinky on Kumb'.the pink palermo wrote:

How can that ever be done in innocence?
I just dont get why anyone would out you like that, there may not have been malice intended but the consequences of such an action must surely have been clear, no?
Did anyone else get outed in the same manor?
Someone at the club knew what they were doing, and that is what stinks in my opinion.
I would have hoped at the very least that this so called NDA agreement should have worked both ways.
The whole business of threatening people just stinks to high heaven.

Re: SAB Meeting 14th May - Non Disclosure - again
Mushy I can assure you the person who outed me did so in all innocence and in good faith .They're a friend , and I know for certain no harm would have been intended .
I don't have an issue with the club knowing who I am - on occasion they help out with the odd thing , so it does help at times to be known so to speak .
Most of the clubs staff that i have met I have liked and respect them for being the hard working employees they are .They're just earning a crust same as the rest of us .They have very limited resources , and the jam is spread pretty thin .Most of them do the best they can and are very approachable .
I don't like Karren Brady , I've never hidden that and I suspect she won't invite me round for tea anytime soon - I just don't believe she is very good at her job .
I believe the OS move will be a clusterfuck of epic proportions and that the club will lose thousands of long serving STH's within a year of moving there .We're struggling to sell out the Boleyn , and if people believe it's because of the style of football dream on - we haven't sold out for Arsenal at home too many times in the past decade - and they always bring a few .
When the supporters get to Stratford and see how big that bowl is , see the rows of blocked off seats , but struggle to see the ball at the far end , many of them , especially the ones who haven't been in the habit of going will decamp and watch it on a stream or satellite .Like they do currently .
And they'll be joined by plenty who currently never miss .
I'm saddened by the whole affair - I don't like posting negative stuff on here about the club day after day , but I genuinely believe they have got it wrong , and have made a huge error .
If it turns out I'm wrong, fine, I can live with that -, but if it turns out I'm right , what do we all do then ?
The clubs team of executives are getting so much wrong, making numerous PR gaffes on a range of items do people really believe they have the depth of talent to pull this whole move off ? Good luck to them but I have serious doubts .

Re: SAB Meeting 14th May - Non Disclosure - again
Anything that can be shared from the meeting last night??
At least if some info was drip fed through it would be a start. Maybe an official update agreed to by the club after every meeting.
For example, last meeting, they could have said...
Point 7 - Club Badge
SAB were canvased on their opinion as to how subtle chances to the club badge would be received.
It was decided that any change would be in keeping with tradition and would not be made without full involvement of club members via a public vote.
We would know what is going on and you have quashed most fears in a matter of two lines.

Re: SAB Meeting 14th May - Non Disclosure - again
There will be 3-4k 'premium seats'.
A number of Cup games will be included in STs
A simplified junior ticket will be created to prevent the current frustration over KFAQ getting a better deal than junior ST
The other age bands will be expanded, although no real detail was given for this.
There will be quite a large gap between the upper/middle tier and the retractable seating. Other than footbridges, this will be covered by branding or something similar.
Every STH will be invited to go and visit the stadium to select their seat, club will also be buying virtual reality software to give a perspective to those who cannot visit the stadium.
Seats are currently planned to stay as black and white. Most of the SAB made it clear that this would be unacceptable and devalue all of the other 'branding' ideas to make the place feel like West Ham's home.
Club are looking at creating a STH lounge.

By premium seats they won't be meaning Band 1 .De Niro wrote:There will be 3-4k 'premium seats'.

They will be in addition to the Band 1 seats .Therefore the number of seats in the lower tier available to Joe Average gets smaller and smaller, meaning prices will be getting higher and higher ....
Re: SAB Meeting 14th May - Non Disclosure - again
Yes, this wasn't covered properly. However going by what they did say and what the diagrams showed, a number of premium seats will be based in sort of middle tier of the West Stand, that's where the chairmen will sit. One member asked where his current seat in the Alpari Upper near centre front would be translated to and he was told the OS East Stand in the Kop.the pink palermo wrote:

Re: SAB Meeting 14th May - Non Disclosure - again
I would have imagined a kind of middle tier for premium in the main stand anyway. Arsenal and Wembley both have them.
Don't see this as much of an issue in all honesty.
Any word on as to if and when they will share some detailed renders or designs with the fans??
(was this question asked??)

Re: SAB Meeting 14th May - Non Disclosure - again
Not yet. They seemed to want to stress that there was a lot of time to go until the move, I'm not convinced personally. The designs that they showed us were the ones already floating around on these boards.sutts07 wrote: Any word on as to if and when they will share some detailed renders or designs with the fans??

They do seem to have created most of their migration strategy (I don't know much detail about this as I'm not on that sub group), and said they would be starting quite soon with premium customers. Currently the ticketing team is going around different sections of the OS and working out viewing distances/prices, presumably in the upper tier seeing as the lower tier doesnt exist yet.

Anything about where the Away Fans will be? Upper or Lower Tier? In a corner, behind a goal, or along the wing?
