Nobody should be under any illusions, this was the only reason he wanted us to share the OS. He is obviously in need of money, and the two options were to share the OS, and sell the ground (which he owns) or if that failed, sell the club.

I'm glad it's the latter. Nasty gobshite ****.

Seems like he has finally realised that no one who matters in the judicial or political world agreed with him about Orient moving into the OS being feasible or a good idea. Also he may have found that under league rules (FFP and all that) it might be years until Orient get promoted (after missing their big chance in the playoff final last season), then again it might never happen.

Either way, no more money to make from running Orient this way, so he's trying to earn himself some final dosh and cut his losses. He's made good money from selling the flats around Brisbane Road anyway.
At least now he cannot hassle us anymore.Although I have to admit that I still find his performance in front of the House of Lords committee (on Youtube) utterly entertaining.

I have never believed this line from Hearn, you are no doubt being ironic, but if he was being honest in his opinion that is what he should be telling any potential buyer and, if so, how will he sell it!

A case here of "buyer beware!"
