Out of a sense of loyalty I have backed this "horse" 3 times in recent months, unfortunately it has the speed of Micky Quinn with asthma.Baron Von Marlon wrote:C'Mon you Irons racing in the 20:50 at kempton tonight.

Re: Official Betting Thread
I had a look at his form which wasn't the greatest, but as you said, he did win recentlyish....
At the races, have him as one not to rule out, may have a cheeky E/W bet.

Re: Official Betting Thread
For Saturday, Airdrie to win away to Clyde at 11/5 is very good. Bit of a derby, worth putting on your 50p coupons  Airdrie 2-1
Dundee to win away to Livingston at 11/8 with Laddys, brilliant odds. Dundee have been on a good bit of form and have a new manager who is getting the best out of the players. Livi on the other hand just sacked there manager and lost against East Stirling who quite frankly are a bit pish. They are also in problems off the field, question of them hitting administration soon. Dundee 3-0
Partick away to Morton, fancy another away win here. Partick had a good win last weekend, also there striker Liam Buchanan is in form and probably the best finisher in the division. Partick 2-0
Ross County at home to Dunfermline, County are playing brilliant football at the moment, just like West Ham though, cant bloody score. We have one player in Richie Hart who can change a game though, class player. Dumpfermline lost against Morton last weekend and from reports were outplayed. Dingwall is a hard place for teams to come, also weather at the moment up here is awful, not in Fife though, so hopefully another thing that favours the Stags. Id put a 1-0 county on this.

Oh well, a fourth place. Glad I didn't waste loads on it. Will keep an eye out for it in future races

Re: Official Betting Thread
7th Dec Grenoble v Auxerre = UNDER 2.5 goals. Auxerre's last 10 matches have ended in under 2.5 goals, whilst Grenoble have a record of 80% of matches this season ending in under 2.5 goals.
7th Dec Copenhagen to beat Horsens. Copenhagen have won 4 out of their last 5, whilst Horsens havn't won in 6, losing 4 of them. Should be a comfortable home win for copenhagen.
5th Dec Sturm Graz to beat Linz. Linz have lost 8 in a row, and Sturm Graz have won 7 out their last 8, drawing the other game.
2.16/1, £5 returns 15.83

Yeah, he ran his typical race, rather one paced when it comes to the business end of the race.Baron Von Marlon wrote:

Re: Official Betting Thread
Generally your first observation is spot on, however , a few of us do win and I have to as I do it for a living. Trading on Betfair, it's a bit like buying stocks and selling them but for sporting events. I'll PM you my Profit and Loss for the last 3 months if you like and then tell me it can't be done. There are 100s who earn a terrific living in the same way on Betfair.dtp2 wrote:Gambling is a mugs game.

I don't give a ****. I just do it as a bit of fun. Imagine the amount of money you piss up the wall on beer, an extra fiver at the weekend on a bet isn't gonna break the bank!dtp2 wrote:Gambling is a mugs game.

Is exactly right. For fun betters it's all about proportion and as long as it stays that way, no problem.roblo wrote: I don't give a sh*t. I just do it as a bit of fun. Imagine the amount of money you piss up the wall on beer, an extra fiver at the weekend on a bet isn't gonna break the bank!
