Re: Official Betting Thread

I had about 4 separate bets lose by one team this weekend! But the losing hasn't bothered me on these as I find it quite comforting knowing my betting streak can take a turn for the better as I'm now back in the game of something that I know, roll on next week

One thing that did piss me off yesterday was I said that if Nolan was to start I was going to put £100 on him scoring first, then got involved in attempting to light a BBQ and missed the bet!

I bow down on this one. Thought it would go the other way. Good shout. Didn't put money on it either way though.

rooney first gs @ 5/1 is pretty big IMO. Also put a little on the jap Kakawa first gs @12/1

Man Utd -1 corner @ 5/6 I like too.

Think am only one in the Everton camp here

2-1 or 2-2 with Jelavic fg

Ladbrokes give you a free stake bet if rooney scores first or last.

I think Everton will scare them, but ultimately Man Utd will win.

agreed. I have hedged myself with a little on a couple of everton players to score first seeing as their odds are so big.

EDIT: Osman, who just hit the underside of the bar being one fo them @ 20/1

EDIT EDIT: Fellaini being the other @ 12/1.

well that's pleased me, managed to cover myself back with that Fellaini goal

EDIT: EDIT: EDIT: ...And actually win money with that late late flurry of utd corners, managed to come out £90 up so got to be happy.

That's brilliant dyl, top stuff. 90 up is very decent, all because of the late corners?

Had Fellaini at 16/1. Started the season fairly solidly betting wise, at least 50% up from the past 10 days. Hope I can keep it up. Tomorrow treble of Wolves, Doncaster and Oxford.

yeah, was very please in the end, Man Utd were 6-1 down in corners with half an hour to go and got it back to 8-6 - Fellaini won me £120 and I had £90 on the corner bet. Take off my losing bets (other 1st goalscorers and man utd to win 2-0) and + £90. That coupled with the £100 or so i won off the wrestling last night gets me back up a little for the weekend, had a **** saturday thanks to the scouse/QPR and Bournemouth.

Tonights play is pre-season NFL - the Philadelphia eagles to beat the new england patriots. All bookies (that i can see) have now moved their lines to eagles -2.5/-3 @ 20/21, however I managed to get eagles +3 on paddy power (thick irish bookies obviously).

This should be a lock. New England are NOT playing Brady, Gronkowski, Hernandez or Welker. Eagles are playing starters until the 3rd quarter (or this is what is heavily rumoured).

Philadelphia win this game or I will be absolutely stunned. I'm on for £100.
