might go over there this weekend for 9 then
Did you get over the mini links today? Was boggy but playable

I play 2 balls all time now and score each. That way I’m playing 18 without going round twice and risking being held up

9 over with first ball 12 over with second

First birdie over there today

Was trying out my new Tom Tom watch.. very good.. I believe it got me the birdie and par on the 9 over because both those holes I used to play a sand wedge finesse chip.. but saw the yardage and went up to same shot but with 50 degree .. put them both within 3 feet.. two diff holes.. bit of rust to shake off but overall I was happy with my hitting

Playing a golf sim in north London Monday and hopefully a round at cranham Wednesday

Get 2018 going a bit

its decent enough... first 2 holes were a bit boggy around the tee

infact most tees were a bit damp but other than that the course was good

enjoyable for sure

Cranham yesterday... course in much better condition but the wind played its part... many a time a drive would look on point only to die on the fairway

luckily a few holes the wind helped

but others I struck irons from the tee and looked bang on the pin after clubbing up.. only to see the ball land sort and roll back into a bunker!!

did have a lovely birdie on 17 though after chipping close

33 points which ill take after the wind

My mate always says its the lack of trees around the place means nothing to protect you from even a gentle breeze

had a massive touch today..

been falling out of love with my putter for a while fancied a change but didnt want to invest unless I had to

got email from ingrebourne .. this weekend only 50% off O work odyssey putters.. £82.50 instead of £165.. thought id go check it out... all but 2 were gone.. didnt like either of them.. I prefer mullet style to blades

but then I saw a sign all putters 20% off... picked up a white hot pro 2 ball (always wanted a 2 ball) £110... I thought lets try.. felt lovely..

took to the till.. the young lad there clearly read the sign wrong and said "all odysseys are 50% atm" so sold me it for £55!!! ... i quickly got him to stick a super stroke mid slim 2.0 on it for £25 and got out of there! lol.. got to work for my nights and someone at work was saying he fancied a new putter.. £20 I got for my old one.. (white hot pro rossie.. 4 years old)

net cost £60 for £135 worth of putter (including grip)

Ouch!

The next week or so is looking to be colder than Pluto, perhaps if it had to happen it's not a bad time.

our first event was suppose to be yesterday at Woburn the Marquess course

due to the snow we managed to get it put off until august at the same price

double win. so didnt have to pay out £140 yesterday , and in the summer should be £200 so got winter price for summer course

then we played panshanger.. bone dry.. £16.50 each..

scored 40 points happy days

Played Charts Hill down in Kent a few weeks ago, Nick Faldo designed course. Littered with bunkers. Very nice course and would love to play again when the leaves are on the trees and the rough fills out.

32 points which I was happy enough with.

Been to Urban Golf in Farringdon a few times recently. Been getting absolutely sh** faced in there though which doesn't help. A shot of Sambuca every time you find the water does the trick but I really like it in there.
