Pedrosa was great in the 125s & 250s but has always been a nearly man in the big class.

Impressive ride by both Pedrosa and Zarco. Pedrosa shirley has a record of sorts, by winning at least one race every season since 2002, and every season since joining the GP circus.

Zarco finishing the season with two podium finishes, in the last two races. The rookie managed also to finish above Lorenzo, and oddly enough being the only non-Spaniard to grab a pole this season with his two PP. Him and Folger have also managed to record more fastest lap in races than the factory team.

Something also happened to Viñales in the last half of the season. He was on fire up til Mugello.

Fingers crossed that the Red Bull & KTM combo continue to build momentum. It'll be fun to watch them try and compete with the Japanese.
We'll have one more season with Lorenzo on the Ducati before they can find a fresh rider who can tame that bike. Iirc Petrucci will be given a new bike, though he'll continue to ride as an independent rider.
