Leclerc will have a 'car problem' at some point so Seb can go past.

Nevermind Vettel goes 1st off start, Bottas second.

Robottas malfunctions and now 4th, the Italian cheats now 1,2 in the order they want.

Vettel ****'s up when challenged by Hamilton, man is a fraud.

Lewis leads, the MGUH gone in the other red car.
Merc 1,2 in the end.

Obviously very unlucky for Leclec. Once again great sportsmanship from Lewis, not that his haters will ever acknowledge that.

Vettel? Like a replay of Monza. Lewis is in his brain. He is no racer is he? Fast, but can't go wheel to wheel. Hamilton knows he just has to put his car alongside and wait for the brainfart when the German's tash falls off.

Great race.

Gutted for LeClerc - deserved the win so much! :( Was a very good race though with some great battles in the midfield - if they can keep delivering races like that I will be more than happy

Big call for Ferrari ... they have a car that can challenge but they have a No 1 driver who fast as he is can't beat Hamilton in a head-to-head ... it's been shown time after time that Lewis is the better raced, Vettel's head just seems to explode when it's mano a mano.

So do Ferrari give LeClerc, a raw unproven talent, the number one status, or stick with Vettel, or do they sit on the fence for half a season and watch Mercedes better team strategy win yet another title?

Great race.

Shame for Leclerc, but no doubt he'll get his first win soon enough.

Special mention for Norris too, not frightened to mix it up in the midfield battle.

These young lads are a breath of fresh air to the sport.

Yep on all, particularly the young blood coming through, I see a few precious noses being put out :D

China has the potential to be a "great" race, it usually is good, but with everything already mentioned it could be even better.

No chance of that happening. LeClerc did everything right over the weekend but was just undone by pure bad luck, if happens to the best drivers. I agree that Hamilton's post match words to LeClerc were classy - Hamilton's had his share of bad luck so knows what he French driver felt like.
Could be an interesting season ahead, LeClerc could usurp Verstappen as the next big thing.
However, Mercedes remain the team to beat - they generally get better throughout the season and will not give up the titles they hold easily.

I keep hearing 'unlucky for Leclerc', but he let slip something after the race which I haven't seen picked up elsewhere, namely that he was worried about running out of fuel before the power failure. I wonder where he would have finished had he driven to ensure he had sufficient fuel left to satisfy the post race inspections?

good to see Esteban Ocondoing the grid walk, should be in one of the cars though not walking, whilst someone like perez still has a seat , i know thats a money thing for perez but surely the best drivers should be there and Esteban is one of them

Easy for the Mercs with Lewis winning at the start. Leclerc thrown under a bus to protect Vettel's reputation.

Great from Albon to claim a point from the pits.

Pretty dull viewing this morning, not a lot even in midfield or the back

Only thing of note was Albon as already mentioned but today was sadly below par entertainment for F1

The best entertainment is seeing Ferrari getting it all wrong. Again.

Was expecting more from this race, so more than a little dull.

Ferrari have to sort their **** out don't they!?!? I hope so, or this could be the easiest year for the Mercs.

If you are Hamilton, do you want an easy season, or do you want to be fighting tooth and nail every race?

Hamilton is a racer. I honestly believe he loves a fight and wouldprefer a close championship rather than a walk over.

You only have to watch the post Bahrain interview to see how much he loved taking Vettel round the outside.
