I agree with them.

The PL should have paid back the £5.5m fine and simply deducted us 1 point.

It was the first time this offence had ever occured so no precedent had ever been set for the amount of point deduction.

1 point would have been sufficient punishment imo.

My neighbour knows Kevin McCabe and assures me that he was 'very angry'.

I became uncivil.

you sure? judging by his appearances in the media, I'd say he was just mildly miffed, enough to give a gentle shrug his shoulders, but nothing to write home about

I can confirm it absolutely. He also revealed that McCabe felt 'extremely hard done by'.

Am I the only one who creasing up with laughter whilst reading that?

I think I can honestly say that I would enjoy watching Eggy sue McCabe and watch McCabe give a grovelling apology for libel/slander, etc than see Spurs get relegated.

I agree. In the summer when it looked like we could still be in **** everything that the two-bob club came out with left me seething...but now, with them screwing up in the Championship and us cruising in the clear in the Premier League, it's just funny to hear their bitterness.

It's always easier to put all the blame on someone else. McCabe can print this nonesense, once again slating us off to everyone, and at the same time take no responsibilty himself, for the fact that Sheff Utd were also the masters of their own destiny.
I must admit it cheers me up to see them low down in the Fizzy League. Please lets get drawn against them in the Cup.

Sheffield Utd mention WHU & Arbitration in Final Results

Post by Billy Bonds love child »

Well, they got something right

 "At the end of the season it is the number of points that dictate success or failure.."

Shame they didn't think of that at the time huh?

So, through peculiar circumstances, this season sees the Blades playing in the Championship. The start has been somewhat frustrating and disappointing as our first team squad is acknowledged by many as being amongst the strongest in the League. However, I have little doubt that under the astute and experienced leadership of Bryan Robson we will soon be climbing the table and seeking to achieve our aim of re-promotion to the League that by rights we should still be playing within.
ROFL :D

So bitter. 10 points clear and you ****ed it up.

Please Eggy, can we sue them?

Almost everyone - except, crucially, the Premier League itself, which decided that as Tevez was ALWAYS ELIGIBLE TO PLAY (sorry to shout) that a heavy finanacial fine was more than enough punishment for other transgressions.

**** Club, numpty fans, ****er chairman. That is all.

If you read the whole thing, it is an excuse for how their figures won't be as good in the 2007/08 season. And it's all our fault.

Watch out for the statment next year.

****ers.
