Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread '09
so IDEALY... it seems that wed like to loan Savio to Napoli in exchange for the defender on loan... The Napoli defender replaces Collins who we sell for 5 million which is used on a striker?? am i right? am i close?

That's the theory but whether it all pans out is another matter.BLT319 wrote:so IDEALY... it seems that wed like to loan Savio to Napoli in exchange for the defender on loan... The Napoli defender replaces Collins who we sell for 5 million which is used on a striker?? am i right? am i close?
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread '09

It's either that, or they realised that £2m in this market, for a player who can play all across the back 4 or in midfield who is a full international with potential and his best years ahead of him isn't that great a fee.

Across the back four? Call me old fashioned but I prefer my left backs to be able to use their left foot. Pardon?
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread '09
spot on.who offered 2m for him then?MD_HM wrote:If the club turned down 2m for Spector they are more stupid than I thought... or maybe they thought it was an April Fools early

Have you not seen us this season with him at left back?
Mistakes and costing us goals he is up there with Breen...

Yeah of course he is...
23 years old and being written off, playing in a position which isn't his strongest how much can you expect?
I will say that I am more comfortable with Ilunga out injured then Green, Parker or Cole.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread '09
Each to their own but Green i agree with the other 2 not a chance... Having Kovac, Noble, Behrami or someone standing in for a couple of games or Diamanti or Nouble in place of Cole would not cost as much as Spector has... At fault at Spurs and the attack which led to Millwall scoring and everytime a winger takes him on they beat him...IIIronss wrote:Yeah of course he is...

I think he has done ok coming on in midfield for 10 mins at end of the game but cant be relied upon in the prem at left back.
