Re: Alessandro Diamanti
I perceived it - I could be wrong as my recollection isn't great on it, as I never paid it too much attention - that he said about Parker and Cole being forced out and that they (all the players) were being made to pay their own costs, but the two statements weren't linked.
It seems that as the thread progressed, it developed incorrectly into 'Parker and Cole are unhappy at being made to pay for their food', with BB getting mocked for it.
I read it that he was saying a number of things, not necessarily linked, in the same post.

Did he ever really leave, he spent most of his time there when he was with us
Mind you there was a few after Diamant's first reserve game who were creaming themselves over his ability to spot a star

IIRC, Pinky was at that game and called it about right from the start.

So he wasnt suggesting that the players had the hump about being forced to pay their own costs?rare as rockinghorse shat wrote:I perceived it - I could be wrong as my recollection isn't great on it, as I never paid it too much attention - that he said about Parker and Cole being forced out and that they (all the players) were being made to pay their own costs, but the two statements weren't linked.

Re: Alessandro Diamanti
That's what I mean - I dunno. I wasn't really paying that much attention, but I got the impression from the fleeting glimpses that he didn't directly say or mean that.
Correct me if I'm wrong, by all means.

Re: Alessandro Diamanti
Here is what he said, in reply to being asked why players had the arseache.
they have taken away the players family box
ticket allocation on match day has been slashed to 2 tickets any more than that they have to pay for them
they have to pay for dinner/lunch at the training ground!!
they are being charged for any shirts they give away to the fans after the match
i spoke to a couple of the players before they left for 2 days game
So a couple of the players told him the above, he posted it in the same thread where he was banging on about Scott Parker and Carlton Cole being unhappy.
I dont see where the confusion is.

Re. BB - like any one else who hears bits and pieces, at the end of the day it's all just Chinese whispers and 'he said she said', isn't it....?
BB's **** smells better than most but it's not gospel.
Always good to have him on board though lest anyone thinks I'm digging him out...

I do.Chuck D wrote:I dont see where the confusion is.
BB strikes me as a bit of an unresponsive poster. Meaning he won't quote people often and get into debates. He posts information directly, wherever he sees fit, rather than it being in context.
He's posted that information in the thread - I just looked it up - and it was not in any direct response to any question or poster.
It's been perceived that he posted that as being the reason as to why they are unhappy.
Which isn't necessarily the case.
Re: Alessandro Diamanti
RARS
If you read the thread, loads of people asked why players were upset, and all manner of different questions, incuding some that BB singularly refused to answer - such as what the "valuation" that we had put on Parker was - and that post was in reply to them.
Are you suggesting that he was saying that the players were delighted by the list of things he had posted?

I did a long post on the Prem about these things, sometimes you get told stuff, which turns out to be inaccurate.
BB's stock seems to be high, and people believe him.
I believe that he is posting what he is told. I just question - as I do with everyone, and everything - whether what he is being told is always accurate/without bias.

Re: Alessandro Diamanti
I don't perceive it that he was suggesting that Cole and Parker were unhappy and kicking up a fuss because they were made to pay for their own lunch.
That would be pathetic and ridiculous.
I give him the benefit of the doubt.

I said as much on the previous page, it would have been more environmentally friendly if you had just given me a thumbs up and left it at that.
Re: Alessandro Diamanti
He starts today against Palermo, just kicked off on ESPN, free this weekend if you have Sky or there'll be a stream on myp2p.eu for anyone interested.
Brescia have just scored, confusion over who got it, not Diamanti though.

Re: Alessandro Diamanti
1-1 now.
Now 2-1 to Brescia, Eder.
This is quite exciting!
Diamanti does seem to be playing very deep for a centre forward though.

Indeed , I was at that game .And I called it how I saw it , and saw nothing in his subsequent perfromances to change my mind .beckton wrote:

He doesn't play for us anymore , so good luck to him , hope he does well at his new club .In a different league .
