Diouf needs to get himself on Twitter so we can all see that, at heart, he's actually a sensitive intellectual like Barton.

Just needs to copy out the middle of a few fortune cookies from the local Chinese and mention that he likes the new Brett Anderson album and Bob's your uncle.

Diouf is training to prove fitness. He has not signed. SA wants him on a short-term deal. Board VEHEMENTLY against it. Allardyce has final say.

O'Neil had a further setback today. Career in doubt. Feb earliest.

Oh, and Lansbury is out for eight weeks...
Talk about a good news day. Bloody hell :thdn:

Is Allardyce trying his best to alienate the fans? First he said that he's wrongly accused of longball tactics, then goes 4-5-1 and longball at every opportunity. Then he keeps on spouting off about wanting the England job instead of concentrating on the job he's paid for............and now this crock of ****!

Even if you put aside his filthy spitting habit, the bloke is ove the hill, and we already have plenty of options up front. We don't need the twat and I'm pretty sure most fans don't want him. I generally like to see the manager making decisions about players, but in this case I'll make an exception and hope the board put the block on this.

Shame if the Lansbury news proves to be correct, but in all honesty he has been poor the last few games. Anyway I'm sure BFS can play Piqionne in his place.

ok.

lets take a step back then. Oiginally it was "head stamped on vs spit in the face". "it then became "face full of phlegm vs lifetime of brain damage".

But the thing is a stamp on the head may not mean a lifetime of brain damage. It might, as Laffers points out (I looked after a bloke who ended up with a brain injury after his dog tripped him up by pulling the lead sharply), but in the majority of cases it won't.

so to summarise:
spit in face = face full of phlegm
stamp on head does not equal life time of brain damage (although it might in some cases)

I'll give you that, Barton has never spat on someone as far as I know.

But he has kicked the sh*t out of a 13 year old who was giving him a bit of stick, had to be restrained by his team mates.

Broke a 35 year old's leg whilst driving through Manchester

Oh and kicked the sh*t out of and stubbed a cigarette out of a youth teams player's eye, causing serious head injuries and a detatched retina.

Amongst other things.

But yeah Diouf is much worse for spitting apparently
Didn't know about some of those incidents so I put my hands up, Barton has always been a bit of a twat

But Diouf is much worse, its not just spitting as others have pointed out on here

Do you think Barton is as bad as Diouf?

Just wondering, not a dig

I seriously dont get Allardyce he should be grateful we gave him a job rather than trying to earn his next one

Gosh ,bit overdramatic since we aint even signed the c*nt .............yet.

...not overdramatic at all- bloke is a disgrace of an individual and frankly a scoring rate of one in 20 is piss poor.

If he comes, I wont watch him play at my club, simple as, and I hope lots of others take the same stance :crest:
