Our top target in January should be one of Snodgrass, Lallana or Whittingham IMO

Score a hattrick yesterday. One of them a belter from fully 25 yards right into the postage stamp the other two, pens, but he sent the Redbridge keeper the wrong way on both of them

Of Crawley's twin strikers. Tubbs and Tyrone Barnett. Barnett is the better of the two. He scored the other goal yesterday, and the other one, was an o g. I think Tubbs could do a job, but we need more than that. Someone of Premier League standard, someone who will guarantee us goals, not someone who just might.

I think Baldock will fire them in in this division, obviously we can't know if he'll do the same in the Premiership, I agree that he's not enough for our goals, with him out injured we seem a bit blunt, back to the early days in the season of set piece goals?

We need tricky creative wingers, plain and simple. Wingers who have pace & can beat a man & supply the strikers! It seems like every other team we come up against has attacking wingers apart from us & this has been the case since Etherington left.

Adamoha & Noone would be cracking signings!!

Specifically I'd like to see Zaha and Snodgrass although I don't see it happening, what about that Mervan Celik looked good in a video I saw of him but can he do the business for us if we sign him?

Just in case anybody is in any doubt, this is not intended as a plea that we should try and sign Micheal Owen per se, obviously we won't get the Ballotelli's, Tevez's, Rooneys, Van Persie's of this world, but somebody who will us guarantee goals and who will consider what on paper looks a backwards step but in reality, is not. Another player who springs to mind is Defoe, whom I have heard Harry is looking to send out on loan in January.
Weren't you saying the same thing in the summer? No way does Redknapp want to loan him out and noway would he come to us with the Euro's coming up and the fact any team out side the top 7 in the prem would want him and probably most in the top 7 would too.

We have significantly more chance of getting Tevez than Defoe and we have f*** all chance of getting Tevez!

Tell ya who will be off in the January window and that's Drogba and he'll go west too, but more likely than not, west coast of the states. See if I'm not right

Harry knows Defoe must have games and Defoe knows he must have games too and that is why Redknapp is going to loan him out. See if I am not right and as regards Tevez, as Karren says, he needs his head looking at.

Zamora, another 1 goal in every 4 matches striker. Not what we need if we are trying to go up

Allright, lets buy Tevez then...

Zamoras last 19 PL games:

8 goals, 8 assists

How many of the 10th-20th teams in the PL have 15+ goals, strikers?

If Defoe is on the bench (which he wasn't at the weekend) he is probably the best sub in the whole prem to bring on to get a goal. Harry would be off his rocker to let Defoe go in January, with them looking on course for a top 4 finish.
