Re: Summer 2012 Transfer and Rumours Thread
Mensah, will be a decent addition to our squad. I can't see him being a first team regular, but we do need cover at the centre of our defence and should we have an injury crisis at some stage of the season, or have an extended cup run, which could lead to a fixture pile up near the end of the season, fresh legs will be very welcome. I think this would be a very good bit of business.

Creates disharmony in the team as all other players will feel less wanted and may even indicate that they're dispensable/ready to be sold?Iron Works wrote:Is that too simple an idea and what are the possible flaws?

Coming from the fella who's spent the summer digging out others for purportedly speaking of things they have no knowledge of, that's particularly ironic..!Willtelll wrote:Even Tony Carr's son has stopped posting info.

Re: Summer 2012 Transfer and Rumours Thread
Anyway... That seems a fitting point at which to send this thread, which has received just shy of 1.4million page views, over to the Hall of Fame.
To recap, it's been one of West Ham United's most productive summers ever; a summer of no less than 11 signings including a player who commanded a £35million transfer fee just 18 months earlier.
It's also been a summer swamped by Twitterati bull****, more outrageous rumours than ever before (Kaka, Moose? What were you thinking!?) - and another summer when KUMB.com once again proved to be one of the few sources you could trust for genuine inside info.
So all that remains is for me to bid "farewell" to the 2012 summer transfer thread, and all who sailed in her.
