All we need to do is mock up a signing announcement and the press will be all over it

Re: Scouting Overseas
Not sure whether we need just to be looking abroad, to be fair theres plenty of talent in the lower leagues from what I've seen. I've seen Crewe a couple of times lately and they've got some very good young players. Nick Powell, whos already attracted the attention of all the big boys and a nippy little lad called Max Clayton who scored at Southend last night and could easily cut it at a higher level. Both are well worth a look, although Powell might be out of our price range if we don't win Saturday. (Chelsea offered £2m at the start of the season and he's bagged 18gls since then).

Please god not Paul Robinson - worst keeper in the premier league.
We will be linked with (and will probably get) Kenwyn Jones from Stoke. That is the summer we have to look forward to.

If West Ham are looking for a bargain. Chris Forrester from St.Patricks Athletic is storming the Irish league. Yes i know its the Irish league but he is having the same impact James McLean did when at Derry who has been brilliant for Sunderland. He will get a move over to England. Watch this space... He would be only a few hundread grand.

Excellent shout, whichever league we're in. A good character to have around too it seems.fmgod wrote:Paul Scharner on a one year deal please, knows the league inside out, can play a few places, avaliable on a free transfer.

Frankfurt won't sell Kittel at this stage of his career.M*A*R*C wrote:
And mark my words, Sonny Kittel is going to make it bigtime. Buy and loanback and give Frankfurt a percentage of sell on (it won't work otherwise, Eintracht know exactly that they've got a little diamond they've got there, but they are strapped for cash and need to strengthen the squad).
Spuds and l'Arse seem to do this stuff a lot, we seem to be too focused on the present.

Can our resident kit designer re-do that blue away kit, but from the back with Kaka - 10 on it - obviously saving space for the Premier League badges. :raver:

Yeah, the opening post does mention there is the small matter of a play off final for us, but for many other clubs, their season is over and the summer has began.bobd_uk wrote:I think that we probably need to establish which division we'll be in before this question can be answered.
(Also, Kaka? Do me a favour!)

Jelavic has urged Everton to go for Naismith. Could he do a job for us?

For what's its worth I think Kaka' would be a marvellous signing and I fully advocate any decision to do so.

Marko Marin is going to get pimp slapped all over the Premier League next year. Going to be fun to watch.
