We've probably bid for Russell Osman, would still be better than Upson.LeonRivers wrote:Seedorf? I just read that we'd bid for Leon Osman. Surely we wouldn't sign two players of that calibre?

He's actually Belgian, so he definitely meant the Champions League winner...Rockhampton Hammer wrote:

Can't believe we've missed out on Hazard typical West Ham letting another top quality player join one of our rivals!
Don't know why we even bother sometimes, G&S need to get that wallet out or leave the club NOW!!
Sack everyone!!

I'd be surprised to see Zaha leave Palace this summer, he's very happy at the club, has a long contract and really looks up to Freedman. The club would, ideally, like to see him to go to one of the big clubs, as well. But, this is football, so if enough money is offered this season then it's possible. Every player has their price and all that.
And would love for Baldock to be sent to South London. Would rather a permanent transfer though. We were in for him before you signed him, no way were we going to match that fee.

why the hell are people talking about seedorf? he's 36. He'll be about as successful as ljungberg.or maybe dyer. I hope that any talk of him joining is just a smokescreen for signing someone else.

Paper this morning had Norwich preparing a £1.6m bid for Snodgrass. If he is available, I'd be delighted if we signed him. Would be a great signing. If we could get him for a couple of million - I'd say that would be a bargain...

Celtic also making a move for Snodgrass, however if the lad has ambition he will make the step up.

It's all the fault of the season ticket debacle, everyones holding onto their cash so we don't have the money to buy anyone, they've cocked next season up before we've even started now !bobo wrote:Can't believe we've missed out on Hazard typical West Ham letting another top quality player join one of our rivals!

Decent, cheap option who'd provide good competition for Cole allowing us to spend our dosh on other areas. I can't see any reason not to sign himwest ham15 wrote:Daily Mail has us linked with the Yak

Was talking to a mate of mine, a long-standing Palace ST holder with a few contacts inside their club. He rates the full back, Cline, as a player far more ready to step up to the Premier than Zaha and he reckons that a couple of PL clubs have made enquiries, one of which is us. Just passing on the info.

Some Scotsman likes him too. I think he manages some Manchester team or something along that line.GH27 wrote:Was talking to a mate of mine, a long-standing Palace ST holder with a few contacts inside their club. Just watched this weeks special report & how I would love to see JC back at the Boleyn. Still has that "fire inside him" & is a real down to earth, old school footballer who has not let the money change him.
Appreciates the job he does & loves
