Terrible way to conduct business and club affairs.
Exactly. They seem to be cut from the same cloth.

Imagine the response had Sullivan posted something similar on Facebook. Doubt many would think that was "brilliant".

Couple of bell ends.

So, given your comments this morning and the since revealed comments from Sporting's communications Director how open is your mind now ?

The hint of sarcasm isn't necessary but if what the Sporting director says is true and can be proved, then for sure Sullivan has been found out to lie over the Carvalho deal. After such an open attack, Sullivan now needs to explain in detail his side of events and if possible provide evidence.

At the moment it's he said, he said b*llocks from both sides trying to save face.

S made the initial high profile statement to divert building damaging flak onto other parties.

Am I correct to think that if the required original fee had been met by S, the transfer would have been concluded smoothly some time ago.

Colours ~ I know you like to play devil's advocate, but the evidence proves that either Bilic was lying as regards" hoping to get the player " comment last weekend and Sullivan claiming that Sporting rejected the offer two weeks ago ! Who do you think has more to gain by lying? Then there is Sporting's claim that we never made an official offer to them but just with player and his agent - A bit like the "Sakho farce" that he roundly condemned on Thursday! He is also being pulled up on his comment about being offered Sanches(2 for 1)and "to Bilic". Are you not ashamed that we are being run by a person who will lie ,pathologically, to save face - unless,of course it's everyone else lying and poor old Sulli is the " George Washington" of football!

Sullivan's on his own if he's found out to bull**** the entire time over this ongoing Carvalho saga, but until it's been proven once and for all either way I choose to keep an open mind.

Colours~ It's not "bull****" it's stone cold lies. The lies about Bilic will never be proven as Bilic has a non disclosure clause in his contract, probably and even if he does not and discloses his version of events, he will never manage a prominent team again. What is your opinion on the payday loans/mortgages of training ground and OS lease, whilst still pocketing £4m+ interest a year on their loans?
The reality signifies,to me, that we have been abject so Sulli is justified in not letting Bilic having any more funds or we have done reasonably well in our first three games= we don't need reinforcements - Sullivan just needs a bit of "bull****" in your words, to cover all bases - I suppose we could claim that he's a liar, but he's our liar.

Of course for the most part any evidence or proof is never going to be absolute...

And I applaud and respect CNR for trying to maintain a sense of objectivity in his arguments and I also know how fair CNR is when it comes to any of his posts on this forum.... to a degree I want to give that benefit of a doubt to the board or Sully like he does...

But to be honest I've been worn down by the continual BS and self serving actions of all members of the dirty trinity running this club..... and although there is no definitive proof there is more than enough circumstantial evidence to show that the way this dirty trinity work, especially Sullivan, is only to serve their own needs and version of the truth....

You could argue their DNA is all over the current narrative coming from the club whether it's directly from Sully Gold etc or from their mouthpieces or indirect sources that report through so called unbiased media....

What I would say to anyone looking to reach an opinion on any of the issues that have come out since the window closed or even this last window as a whole is to not look or consider the evidence based solely on what's been said by Sully/board but to consider what's been said by others not just in last few days but over last few weeks and then consider that information based on what we have seen from the board in the past not just at this club but also their time at Birmingham...

I genuinely believe now that by considering the bigger picture of the way these guys work and have worked and of which there is plenty of evidence and then consider that in relation to the current debate... you will see I am sure that there is more than enough or certainly beyond the benefit of the doubt that this dirty trinity are totally about themselves and will do and say anything to deflect their mistakes or errors in judgment onto other people.... much can be said about hindsight such as it is only useful after the fact but in this case hindsight proves just what extremes these guys will go to, to blame anyone but themselves...

Sorry CNR my first comments were in no way supposed to try and dig you out mate, far from it and I hope you don't take it that way and if you do then I apologise now mate because it's not meant...

Absolutely no proof whatsoever that either side is telling the truth.

None.

Edit: I'm just talking about the Carvalho thing here.

Jorge Mendes stated apart from Swansea the only other teams that had any contact over Sanchez was Liverpool and Chelsea. As his agent he would know.

Sullivan lied that he was offered to West Ham.

The other lads agent has said similar in that no other premier clubs were interested. The player himself said that he jad offers from Italy and Spain and West Brom.

Sullivan lied that he was offered to West Ham.

On 24th August, Bilic stated in the Guardian that they needed Willy or 'someone like him'. In addition he stated if we sell players we will replace them. This was prior to the Snodgrass loan.

Jason Burt reported that Sullivan had lost confidence in Bilic after the first three games and wouldn't spend anymore money. Burt also reported that Sullivan was disappointed with the summer signings.

the way I see it is

ive nothing against low balling bids for players that's just business ,
but there just punts maybe you will get lucky maybe you wont

but when we desperately need a player just pay the money ,
that's what pisses me off , and we still haven't bought a centre half ffs

Of course not. I've got 1 blokes side of the story against another, with neither being able to back up their side of events.

Tbf to CNR, whilst I believe Sullivan is telling porkies regarding Carvalho, the statement from the bloke at Sporting Lisbon is not really proof. It coukd just be a pack of lies in itself

Do you accept that Sullivan lied about the other players being offered to Bilic?

It just makes me think that god forbid Sullivan is telling the truth, then the Sporting Director would feel pressure from his own fans and the player himself as to why they didn't accept a huge bid for 1 of their players and a player who was dead set on leaving for the Premier League and could be trying to lay all the blame elsewhere. It could well be Sullivan is the lying bullshitter but I'd want proof to prove it otherwise, not some petulant rant from a Director on Facebook of all places.
