Worried about this one, with Bolton';s interest.
Yes they can offer European football which may swing his decision (then again he left a club in Europe - Maccabi haifa, for a club that isn't - Santander) however, we can actually beat them financially. It seems they have financial problems, and are onyl willing to pay £1.8M. This could swing it in our favour. Fingers crossed that the lure of London, and playing attractive football (unlike at Allar-****-dyce's) brings him to us. Cummon Pards!!

This link says that Boltons £1.8m bid was rejected.Israeli_Hammer wrote:Sorry about the multiple posts , but just to keep you updated on the Israeli media's updates:
One of Benayoun's agents, Ronen Katzav: "We had a very good meeting with West Ham, but Yossi will make his decision only after we meet Bolton as well". Benayoun himself: "Still haven't made a decision".

I think its because every single independent review or article thst I have read seems to rave about him.
Since we were relegated we havent enjoyed a gifted play-maker at Upton Park. Maybe this guy could be what weve been missing.
yossi benayoun is the best israeli player.
he is the leading player in the israeli national team.
he is a very creative and verstile midfielder, who has an offensive approach.
any team who gets him, would be very lucky.
he has a lot of talent, and needs the righe manager to fulfill his potential.
i'm from israel by the way, and i'll be very happy to answer any questions about him.

I can't be sure mate, I'm only passing on the Hebrew information, which claims that there are talks with both clubs.SL wrote: This link says that Boltons £1.8m bid was rejected.

Latest report: "Benayoun seems to prefer West Ham". Might turn out to be bollox by the rate of it, but also makes a bit of sense- London offers much more than Bolton, and there's a Jewish community in which he could raise his children.

IIRC it's Seb Carole, the French bloke who came on as sub vs. Crewe.coxy wrote:Like others for some reason I'm quite excited about this proposed deal. Can anyone tell me who the last foreigner we signed was? Repka is the one that springs to mind but it was probably Sophie-Anne or someone like that.
