these are the words of a respectable israeli commentaitor.
i will translate only the part about west ham and yossi.
"benayoun's decision to play for west ham and not for bolton was right.
because traditionally, west ham has always trusted techinquel players, that are able to preform solo moves at the front part of the field.
west ham, and it doesn't matter who it's coach is and will he be replaced(west ham's manager is the most likely to be replaced first by the all the betting agencies in england), is a team with a crowed who likes players like yossi.
and to a player who is at this stage of his career, it's a wise choice.
benayoun needs a crowed that will love and value him, and west ham's crowed, maybe more than any other english crowed, would like to see a player, that will remind it even by a bit, the club's great tradition, from trevor brooking to joe cole.
and who knows, maybe at the end of this season, there will be a man who will say, while taking a sip from the traditional pint,"from trevor brooking to yossi benayoun".i wish"

that's what he says.

Welcome to Kumb and thanks for the link.

However, just about the only posters who can read Hebrew are you Israelis, so it would be very helpful in future if you all could post links to English-language sites.

It seems that in the future we'll be outnumbered by Israelis. Well, I'm ready to collaborate with the occupator... Shalom!

Pre-Yossi kumbers, PM me if you have the plan for uprising!

Man I just love singing that Yossi song on Israel national games :)
It's not very complicated, 'Israel Country' just wrote the entire lyrics (Yossi yossi yossi yossi... Yossi Benayoun!).

Say, Israel Country or Daniel: Is your last name by any chance Markowicz? (just a thought I had).

Apologies for not reading the whole thread (just got back from Sweden), but has anyone suggested this (familiar to some) song not unlike the one we had for Sofiane.

Oh Yossi you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind ad infinitum.

You mean...

Oh Yossi
You're so Benayoun
You're so Benayoun you blow my mind.

Funnily enough, no, I don't think anyone else has suggested it.

he will get that alright....He will be treated like one of our own.

and who knows, maybe at the end of this season, there will be a man who will say, while taking a sip from the traditional pint,"from trevor brooking to yossi benayoun".i wish"

I can't remember or be bothered to look through this mammoth thread, but I have a question:

If Yossi lifts a finger, is a mouse there?
