Ginge fella from Wales had 15 today, but if Yossi offers him a holiday I can't see why number 15 wouldn't be up for grabs

he will not force anyone to give him the number.
i can't wait to west ham's first game.
with such a midfield, and a striker on the, the famous attacking style of play will appear with all of it's glory.

Give Aldridge a break...he's not going to say...."Yeah we got him....we beat off the other shitty teams in this league"

good signing from what I've seen of him. Where do you plan on playing him? Seen him play as forward and just behind the strikers.

hard to tell really i'd guess the role just behind the front man in a five man midfield, though some more cynical would say right back

Goodie.

Just hope he is as good as all these crazy football fans from Israel claims.
I can't remember a more hyped player transfering to us.
Let's hope he don't let us all down, let's hope he can cut it in England, and last but not least - let's hope he scores against that fat **** Allardyce's Bolton.

Someone here posted Yossi said he's Eyal's friend. But have no worries, Yossi is extremely far from being similar to Berkovic (I liked Eyal at the time, but Benayoun I like a lot better).
There are a few fundamental differences between them:
- Eyal is a self-centered arrogant person. Yossi is very modest and does more than he speaks.
- Eyal is the kind of person who will say about a club he played in that it's a pub club. Yossi doesn't have the attitude to say something like that (even if he gets kicked in the face).
- Eyal has excellent passes and vision of the game. Yossi has great passes, vision and most important the sense for great goals. I cannot overstate this: the sight of a Yossi Benayoun trademark goal where he rounds a few players and makes the keeper drop to the ground before rolling in the ball easily is truely magical. Especially when he plays for your team (I was sitting near the Switzerland goal when they came to play against Israel and Yossi scored that dazzling goal. It was one of the most exciting football moments of my life... I still get goose bumps when I watch the clip).

I do like Berkovic, I always have. He just has a serious attitude issue... too full of himself.
Don't worry, Benayoun is better than him, or at least I think so.

he does it well.
oh, another trademark of yossi that no one mentuoned, is that when the other team has a corner, he stands on the goal line, and always saves with his head and legs.
What?? he can play in goal as well? jeez this must be the best value player ever, does pards know? means we no longer need keeper backup in my book. :)

Benayoun Ace - you still can't compare Eyal to Yossi, Berkovic at his best on of the best playmakers in the world, only his big mouth stopped him from reaching the elite clubs in Europe. Benayoun doesn't posses his vision, almost nobody does.

daniel - Katan is never good enough for EPL, maybe for the championship, one of the most over rated players in Israel, his "breaking season" lasts from 99 isn't it?

so.. did we break the pages record already?
