and thank's to the daniel and the other israel poster's for the info on him :niceone:
All us stattos know exactly who he is and believe he is mustard! this is a real coup for West Ham and what a player he is.

Benayoun will play with flair and very attack minded :raver:

I don't recall any long injuries he had (I remember he had a knee thing during the Israel VS France, Israel VS Ireland week. He played nontheless).
Though a lot of people in Israel think he lacks the physical qualities to deal with the aggressive nature of English football. I disagree. He might not be a huge goon, but he handled the Irish national team pretty good (setting up the first goal and getting the penalty for the second one).

The first time Pards has had real money to spend he has pulled off some great deals, and no one on hear has been against any of them he is doing his bit , we have to do ours now and really give the team and Alan Pardew all the support we can this season . Our eventual finishin place will have something to do with us and the vibes we give out at every game Home and Away.

Thanks to everybody for an entertaining two days and a special thanks to Daniel and I_H.

Hope he can live up to all the expectation.

Just need a striker and another midfielder which I'm sure Pards is on.

Can't wait for the season to begin and hope we stuff Bolton, Benayoun hat-trick.

C'mon u IRONS

Delighted that it's finally confirmed! Go on Yossi, make us proud!

Here are a couple interesting facts about "The Diamond" to get going:

- Yossi was born in the southern town of Dimona, as close as it gets to Israel's nuclear plant.
- The lad seems to learn languages quite quickly, after his first season in Spain his Spanish was just as fluent as the rest of the locals in Santander.

That's helpful. If he gets lost, we'll find him with a Geiger counter.

hello blokes, hope you are all thrilled.
http://www.one.co.il/cat/articles/artic ... 64599&bz=7

the saga has come to an end, yossi benayoun has signed a 4 year contract with west ham.
yossi said:"i asked my wife and eyal berkovic where should i sign, and they both said west ham.eyal is a close friend and has always spoke highly about the club.
i'm really excited to bo joining west ham and the premierleague, and can't wait for my first game.i think my qualities match west ham's style of play.
i know about west ham's tradition and fans, and i saw their game vs preston.
the fans are great, i saw their celebrations, and their just great.
paul aleridge said:"i'm glad we signed a high profile player, and i'm sure he'll become a crowd favorite."

that's whet it says.
it's official.

Is he mutated due to the radiation and capable of scoring superhuman goals and running for 90 minutes without pausing for breath?

Unlike Dowie who was just mutated.

And well done Mr Berkovic for putting in a good word about us!
