I would be very happy going into the new season with Upson, Collins, Taylor & Tomkins as our 4 CB's.

If we could add a RB of Ilunga's qualities I think we would have a very good defending unit with plenty of potential for a good few years.

Its the same deal with spector. If you dont see players play then its very easy to write them off. Both of them need to be given a chance to prove themselves before we decide they are no good.

I'm talking about catastrophic **** ups that cost us a game. Like Antons double mistake against Berbatov against Spurs, or his pass back that sent Bellamy in when we played Sunderland.

FWIW I agree. I can't see the attraction. Gets caught out a lot from what I've seen, but like you all from my armchair on MotD. Not being a Newcastle fan obviously reduces the attraction to watching their games in their entirity!
