Maybe the chasing of Fortune is a sign of the type of striker Zola goes for. Big, strong, good work-rate?
Personally, even though I didn't really like his attitude much, I'd rather go back for Marlon Harewood than Fortune.

West Ham are trying to hijack Hull's £3.4million move for Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune.
You would have thought that after Tristran and DDM we would have had enough of nancy strikers eh?
On a more serious issue, surely this is nothing more then poppycock. I thought that Mr Duxbury had made it clear that there would be no money available until the summer of 2010? Or is this a replacement being lined up fro Ashton with half the money going on a player and the other half going to pay back Eggy's wasted millions that we owe to the banks?.

1356 BST: Southampton's financial problems could see more players join David McGoldrick in leaving the club. McGoldrick joined Nottingham Forest for a reported £1m on Monday, goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is set to join West Ham as his contract expires on Tuesday and midfielder Andrew Surman has been linked with Wolves
