Whom our ex manager was roundly ****ed for trying to sign on a free two seasons ago?OzzHammer wrote:Mark Viduka, PL experienced - out of contract - wouldn't cost the earth - a big unit to hold up the ball - would be good for a handful of goals...I know there's plenty of you gonna shout NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, but for crying out loud - who else is out there with PL experience and can hold his own in the PL and is currently available that we can realistically bring in - that's right NO-ONE else.apart from MV and perhaps Marlene.
I assume that when Zola gets him in it will somehow be part of the masterplan?

Could Ben Thatcher maybe do a job as a makeshift striker??

Would it be at all possible for us to pay a player such as Luca Toni the cost of him terminating his contract at Bayern (which I can imagine is a sizeable fee) thus making him a free agent and allowing us to sign the player.
It also means that we are technically paying a transfer fee but in a different sense, through terminating his contract.

Can't believe people would think Luca Toni would even think of joining us at this point, unless we offered him twenty times the wages we offering now. Also if he is coming for money I'd imagine Hull would offer him a sackful.

Hang on, Nani discovered him, and Zola is his bestest mate.
Surely thats enough to put money to one side?

Add to the fact he's missus has a claret and blue flag above her "area".Chuck D wrote:Hang on, Nani discovered him, and Zola is his bestest mate.

Toni used to watch games from the old North bank when he was a lad, everyone knows that.
