I totaly agree with what you are saying and what you did but if somebody saw you beating your sisters boyfriend and they didn't know why you were doing it, they may well have called the ol' cozzas on ya. I for one wouldn't have because it was none of my business in the 1st place and I would have walked away, my wife on the other hand would have been straight on the phone.

Given Hampshire's circumstances and knowing the story behind the incident. I agree with him.
I am a man with set morals, and hitting a woman is a big No No! I wouldn't have 'grassed him up'.

But consequently if I was walking down the street and saw some fella hitting 7 bells out of someone else, I'd have to intervene. I'd probable also phone the OB (but I don't necessarily think phoning the police about something you are witnessing comes under 'grassing'). My conscience would not let me turn the other cheek, not get involved or walk on by.

Fair point, I have stepped in to break up fights when I was younger and fitter and if I saw a group of blokes beating one up would probably call plod and shout at them to stop rather than stepping in. We seem to be a long way from idiots on a football pitch though.

But how would you know he isn't getting a beating because he has raised his hands to a lady? These grass/non grass rules are getting very confusing now! :eh:

(n.b. maybe thread can be moved & renamed?).

I refer you to my earlier post about there being an awful lot of grey  And note I was one on one with the scumbag rather than getting a group of mates to do it, which would have been nearly as cowardly as a bloke hitting a woman. At this point I think I'll just leave this one.

I see the club has put more pictures up. These seem to me (however wrong) poeple over excited running on the pitch. Are they trying to make that night look nothing more than a three pitch invasions? Second question what happens to the money when we are fined do the FA make money from crime?

I'd don't recognise any of them. But, of course, I was put out to grass some years ago.

we should sign no 5 as a junior keeper as he appears to have at least three arms.

Weren't we waiting for international clearance so #1 he could be our reserve right back?

And #7 is clearly Joey Lawrence of Blossom fame. Whoa.

Personnally, i don't think that the running on the pitch is all that serious, stupid yes,but no real harm was done

i happen to see crimewatch uk this week, and when i saw the two reconstructions, one about, where they raped and burglared a 7 month pregnant woman, and in the other where they just batterd a poor old defensless man to his death, those are the cases in which i really hope somebody grasses them up
