  If he gives us Aquafresca that will do me. Cagliari are doing quite well (great kit) at the moment but they usually yo-yo between serie a-b....i think.

Even this is descending into farce.

Potless never really was billionaires to dead bodies, Italian fraudsters, the Lidl version of Ryanair, Ann Summers.

Will this club ever do anything competently?

A management buy out..? Sounds as plausible as anything else in fairness....

This is quality. absolute quality...all three major bidders speak to the press and then boom Cagliari show their hand at the death. It's all so funny you could make a film out of it...oh wait.

edit: i feel sorry for the Aussies who went to sleep.

A few interim questions Venice...

1. How much cash does he have?

2. How is the family business going?

3. Is he involved with a budget airline or the porn industry?

The cynic in me says this is what's going to happen:

We get some more bidders in over the next few days: One from Argentina, from from Iran, one from Sambia, one from Russia, one from Japan and one from China. While all this is slowly being revealed Gold and Sullivan keep improving their offer.
CB Holdings enjoy the ensuing bidding war - looking for a big payout to them - while time keeps on passing.
The January window closes shut - no new players for West Ham, but Parker, Green, Upson, Cole and Behrami have all been sold for a combined 20 million to Man City.
Duxbury says: The club is now back on a solid financial footing, Zola and Nani are doing a great job blablabla while CB Holdings maintain their now infamous stand: "We are in no hurry to sell!"
West Ham only win one more game for the rest of the season and are duly relegated.
Sheffield United are promoted.
CB Holdings sell West Ham to a mystery bidder from Burkina Faso for 1 pound.
Zola quits as West Ham manager.
Fortunes always hiding...

I don't like the idea of this late late Italian bid, other than the potential it carries to have VH installed as our man-on-the-spot. Did a ****ing stirling job, last transfer window.

Some pointless speculation: perhaps he (Cellino) is part of the Intermarket Group? Perhaps it was put together by GZ?

I'm pretty sure he hasn't put money in Cagliari for a while, how on earth is he planning on buying us?
