It's been a busy summer; five in already as I write. Obviously we have a few weeks of the window to go - and more will come and go - but as the squad appears to be taking shape nicely we might as well kick this off now.

If Parker and Cole are still here top half 9th/10th bottom half if they leave 14th or lower as i don't believe we can attract players of equal or better standard should they go.

I'll confess to 8th .

I'm hugely optimistic we will be better than Wigan , Wolves, Blackpool, Blackburn, Bolton, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom, Birmingham, Sunderland .

Stage 1 is to be the best of that lot - with Bolton being the pick I reckon , that puts us 10th .....

Then , battle it out with Fulham , Villa and Everton , and finish above any 2 of them to give us 8th .

It can be done . I command it .

Cheers for the reply TPP especially after i posted on the wrong thread I always find you're posts good i read the forum for a while before joining.But i think even if/when they sell JM their squad overall is still a fair bit stronger than our's imo, i think it is a real log shot for us to finish top 8 next season.Having said that i am looking forward to a good season this year.
